I'm a GC in Toronto and I initially found Pegasus on Homestars. I met with Cliff and I felt comfortable with him and his ability to complete my scope of work. The scope of work was to underpin a basement from 6ft to a finished height of 8ft. The underpinning portion was completed in a very timely manner however not rushed and done poorly. Cliff's and his crew were very friendly and they were a pleasure to work with. Cliff also excavated my backyard as well to make room for building the foundation for the addition. Despite some weather issues and unforeseeable delays we managed to get it done and we are very satisfied with the work. Thank you Cliff and Pegasus for being a part of our project.

My wife and I hired Tischler Contracting because we had seen their work at another friend's project. We were looking to renovate our main floor and found that they were reasonably priced that we liked them when we first met them. Erik and Stefan are very reliable and they made us feel like we were their priority. They were extremely easy to work with and they offered some design suggestions during the renovation that we hadn't thought of. I would recommend Tischler Contracting to any of my friends.

I initially found David on Homestar's and I had him come by the house to meet me to go over the scope. I found that David was very knowledgeable and friendly and I could see myself working with him. Needless to say I was right about him. His lead framer George was amazing - a very capable and experienced framer. II'm very happy with the results and I would definitely use Avant Garde again for my next project.

Construction is a funny business. You meet all kinds of characters. When you're having work done in your home you really have to be conscious of the type of people you're letting into your house. From the moment I met Aaron of Zahlco Construction I felt comfortable with him. He was on time for starters, and he took the time to speak with me. What really impressed me was that he listened rather than try to tell me what I needed to get done in my place. He sent me a quote very quickly. His team was available to start work relatively soon after I agreed to the quote. Aaron was just as excited about seeing the finished product as I was and he or one of his associates were there with me every step of the way. I'm my experience a lot of contractors don't like doing smaller renovation jobs but Zahlco treated me like I was just as important as a larger project. His contractors were courteous and efficient and they tried to keep the workplace as clean as possible. I was very happy with the results and I will definitely be calling Zahlco back for any future renovations!
