My French Door Kitchen Aid fridge (just outside of warranty of course) was not cooling properly. They were able to send a technician on the same day I called. He was courteous and diagnosed it as either a new sensor or a new main board. He recommended replacing the sensor first as it as cheaper than replacing the main board. I had to make a 50% deposit and was told they would call to arrange an appointment once the part arrived. As promised I received a call a few days later & scheduled a follow up. The repair man replaced the sensor and told me that, if in a few weeks I was still having problems, I could call them back and he would order the main board and only charge the difference rather than paying for 2 separate repairs. Crossing my fingers that the problem was the sensor!
