We bought a home with alot of vegetation that we have no idea nor time to take care of. Kevin came in promptly and worked very hard to weed/clean/trim our landscaping in time for a scheduled party. He also suggested and planted easy to maintain native plants in another part of the yard. I have already passed on his name to a coworker seeking someone with an extensive knowledge of plants and how they should be used in various applications.

I contacted Harm without much knowledge of him or his company and was greeted courteously and professionally. After the quote, the work was completed in a very satisfactory manner at the quoted price with no surprises. I've dealt with many many contractors and the best ones take the care and time to consult with you on all details as Harm did. I did request an extra outlet be connected and Harm and his partner Don patiently did that as well at a reasonable upcharge. Good trades are hard to find and based on my experience, I would enthusiastically recommend Wire-Man Electric to anyone seeking professionally completed work at a fair price.

Irene's first job with us was 7 years ago for a paint consultation on our 50's bungalow. She was able to suggest interior colours that would complement our existing furnishings including our giant ugly blue/pink couch and 90's pearl oak cabinets. It was almost as if she was able to make those hideous furnishings disappear with extremely adept choices in colors and accents. She also did a great job of picking colours for the stucco/wood exterior as well. We received alot of complements for all of two years before we demolished the old bungalow and embarked on a new build. For the 4000 sq ft wonder, Irene's involvement was much more extensive - not just choosing paint but granite, tile, flooring, etc. If you've never built a house, it's one of the most exhilarating, exasperating, exciting, stressful and satisfying things you can do. Irene was there whenever we had questions or doubts and was not just a professional but truly cared about the result and our ultimate satisfaction. As they say, she went th extra mile and then some! The house turned out great but I guess we got bored because we just sold it and will be heavily renovating a newly purchased mid century modern. We are very much looking forward to working with Irene again. It's going to be a wild ride but I know she's going to help make it enjoyable and very satisfying.

Chris arrived promptly at the time scheduled. My job was a new construction 4000 square foot house and took approximately 3 hours to complete, longer than the estimated 2-2.5 hours. Access holes were cut at the furnace air return and at the discharge. A large 8" (approx) suction hose was fit into the return vent and fed into a huge 5' tall vacuum canister containing a prefilter and a HEPA filter. Chris then pushed a air powered beater brush through each vent run to loosen the settled detritus while the mega-vacuum suctioned it all back through the HEPA. The brush itself consists of approx 10" lengths of fabric that should be able to reach all sides of the vent. More typical duct cleaning outfits have the rotating toilet brush thing that probably makes contact with less than 10% of the vent surface. Chris drilled small access ports (only where possible - not on finished surfaces) to get the best coverage possible. The furnace (Carrier Infinity 96) was run during construction so was contaminated with quite a bit of drywall dust as evidenced by looking at the HEPA and prefilter after completion. As these new high efficiency furnaces are fairly complex electronically, I was pleased to see it well cleaned before being put into fulltime service. Overall I was pleased with the service received. They are far from the least expensive option but the level of cleaning is unusually thorough compared to the typical duct cleaner. I will recommend to friends and acquaintances, especially those with asthma sufferers like our family. Not everyone is willing to spend the extra money so that's why I gave 4 stars. And I got 25 Airmiles too.
