We hired KBR Construction for various renovation projects in our home. The quality of workmanship by Don was great. His son, however, was sloppy and refused to wear safety equipment when working. Don did a variety of work in our home. We had scheduled a time for him to return to finish the work (at his request). He called at the last minute to inform us that he was no longer going to do the work. No explanation was given. We asked him for a referral so that the work could be completed; he told us to look in the phone book.

We had hired a contractor to supply and install hardwood flooring a year ago. He did part of the work, then backed out with no explanation. After researching flooring companies, we selected Lakeview to finish the job. Brad and his team did a wonderful job accommodating our wishes, including tearing out the old floor then coming back a week later, as requested, to finish the work. Lakeview did a fine job. The old floor was torn out with a minimum amount of mess. The installer matched up the new installation to the old one. We are going to ask them to return and replace the carpet on the second floor with hardwood.

We were promised that our bathroom reno would be completed in one week. The project took 5 months! Several of the employees who came to our house were not qualified in the trades that they were working on, nor were they familiar with the building codes. They did serious structural damage to our home which we had to repair this ourselves before the project could proceed. It was difficult to get the owner's attention as he seemed to be busy chasing other potential jobs. It was an extremely stressful reno. We will be renovating another bathroom and will definitely not be using City Tile again.
