The last step in our renovation was to get new railings for the staircase we replaced. It took a bit to find a company I wanted to work with - everyone seems so/too busy and since I didn't want glass as part of the railing, many companies had no interest in the project. I reached out to ProWeld and was impressed with Tal and how he qualified what I wanted and gave me a proposal that met my needs all around. ProWeld is also busy, but they were professional, reliable and the finished product is fabulous. The fellow that led the project took pride in the job and was kind enough to even vacuum up when they were finished. Thank you Tal and team for a wonderful product and experience.

Update: August, 2019 As it turned out, there were several deficiencies that came to light, starting 8 months after the job was completed. After P&P sent the project lead back to fix things up, they literally fell apart the following spring. Natanael never visited to see the issues. In fairness to him, he was injured at the time. He offered to compensate me so I could get the problems fixed myself or I could arrange to have the lead on the project (who was no longer employed with P&P) to come back again. We agreed on the compensation option and I have now got all of the issues properly fixed, including: - We taped all of the drywall joint between ceiling and wall. About 50% of the total length (200') had come apart. - the pocket door and frame for the bathroom was removed and installed properly. - the wall hung toilet was removed, the wall repaired and the toilet was re-hung properly (according to instructions). It was also sealed with silicone (not done by P&P) - the trim and the frame for the sliding doors in the den was removed and rebuilt and secured properly - this was the most obvious 'shortcut' P&P took. Instead of getting to the bottom of the problem when they tried repairing it, I was told it was a humidity issue. It was actually a screw and glue issue. - the shower floor/wall joint was growing mould - this was 'stripped back' and redone and the problem has not come back. - several joints where trim met were coming apart - these have all been repaired I'm not out of pocket because Natanael paid me an agreed upon amount for me to fix the problems, but I can no longer recommend his company. Perhaps it was the young lad who was over his head (I notice now, he has no other mentions in P&P's reviews), but the end result was substandard finishing and lack of follow-through to resolve the issues. I asked P&P to provide a bid on our plans to renovate the second floor (bedrooms and main bath) and from my first contact to job completion, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and the experience of working with them. Natanael (owner) is an expert and a straight-shooting gentleman. He kept a close eye on our project and was always available to discuss as things moved along. The team he assigned to our project was led by a very talented young man - Javier. Diligent, hard-working and professional sums up my assessment of Javier - thank you for your work and care on our project. I met many on the team and they are all cut of the same cloth- solid, competent, professional - this includes Natanael's admin assistant Ilemis, who made a very strong first impression. Our second floor of our home was stripped down to the studs, roof and subfloor. Ceilings and walls were removed. Ductwork was done, adding two additional registers and a return on the second floor. The floor was reset to remove the step up to the back bedroom. New staircase, windows, subfloor, hardwood, insulation etc etc. A FANTASTIC new bathroom was installed - walk-in shower and everything is wall mounted - vanity and toilet. And my favourite change was a new staircase that is a standard width with standard dimensions for treads and risers. I'm a very happy customer and am available to act as a reference. I will post pictures later on. Thank you Natanael and Javier for an experience we could not expect to be topped by any other company.

This is a small, family-run company where the father/son do the installation. They did a great job and were a pleasure to have them in our house. I would definitely hire them again.

I had a leak in my roof and after contacting a few companies, I had Professional roofers replace the shingles on my roof in March, 2014. They were the most courteous and professional in their sales process and their pricing was in line, so I hired them. The job was done when they said it would be, they left the yard clean and the leak stopped. More recently I called them to complain that they removed a cage that was installed/screwed in to the soffit and did not re-attach it as they found it. Net result is that squirrels pulled it off enough to get back into the roof. I had to hire the Wildlife removal company once again to reinstall the cage properly. The cage was installed by a wildlife company (GTA) that is rated a 10 on this board. They spoke to this roofing company and told them that the squirrels could not have pulled off the cage the way it had been installed. I'm pleased to report that Professional Roofers stepped up and picked up the cost to fix the cage. Much appreciated Professional Roofers - thank you!

At the end of last year we had some plumbing work at our place of business that needed to be done and we called Priority Plumbing. At the time, I was unhappy with the price and quality of the work and I complained here and to management there. We could not resolve the disagreement at that time. More recently the owner Austin took time to write me and ask if I was open to getting things resolved. Coincidentally, I was having another problem, this time in my home. I invited Austin to come out and make the repair, but without charge. He was quick to accept the opportunity to change my perception of his company and he helped set up an appointment. One of his team arrived at my door. He was polite, professional and took time to fix the issue and test that it was working properly. While he was there, I asked him about another issue and he was glad to look into it. 10 out of 10 on his work and professionalism. Austin then asked if he could send another of his team out to inspect the work done at our business and make any repairs necessary. I agreed and another very professional and competent plumber visited us that same day and made a repair to the work that was previously done. He too gets a 10 out of 10 for his work and professionalism. Austin has made a believer out of me about Priority Plumbing, him and his people. Thumbs up and thank you Austin!
