Ontario Pool Service did an excellent job with the final preparation and painting using Epoxy Paint of my concrete pool. The whole experience from the site visit and quote, recommendations, preparations and painting were excellent. I have no qualms about recommending Ontario Pool Service for this work.

Identified a plumbing leak using thermal camera. Avoided 10,000 in excavation solution to H2O in basement. I can't express how relieved and pleased with the consultation Roy Warren from Dry Shield provided. About 2 weeks ago, water started seeping from under the dry core floor in my finished basement. Since this is 1971 house, it thought that there was something wrong with the weeping tiles or the foundation. So, on to Homestars to get companies… I had another vendor take a look at the situation and the potential cost was 9000 + HST. Roy arrived Friday right on time and was immediately helpful and informative. I appreciated that he took the time to tell me about his background and experience. I could tell he was here to solve a problem and not “close a sale”. We looked at the suspect area outside and then inside the house. He examined the structure, foundation and interior wall. In the finished portion of the basement, he thought it might be a tie-rod hole that had leaked. But, he was honest, he said he could not provide a quote because he couldn’t be 100 % sure of the cause, since the thermal camera was back at the shop. So on Saturday, on his own time, he returned to my house and with the thermal camera, he pinpointed the problem. A cracked ABS pipe (original to the house), from the kitchen, likely caused by my over-zealous use of insulation. ? So Roy and Dry Shield saved me $10,000 in unnecessary excavation, mess and disruption that would not have solved the problem. You bet I am happy with this outcome!

About 18 linear feet of Caesar Stone was expertly fabricated and installed by Marble Plus. Beyond happy with results. Everything was done on schedule and no surprises. I appreciated the advice from highly experienced people at the showroom. That meant we ended up with an excellent installation and overall look. From showroom to office support to installation. All excellent.

Dan installed about 16 sheets of drywall in my kitchen during recent reno. Completed the work very quickly and efficiently. He was able to work around the variations in some walls without any problem. The taper that he assigned to the project was very good technically. The joints are tight and very square. My only constructive feedback would be that the taper should have called to let me know of delays he was encountering and when he'd arrive. I have already recommended Drywall Guy to 2 other people. Be sure to line up the skilled trades like Dan well before you need him.

Rewired 1971 house with Aluminum wiring and upgraded to 200 Amp Service. Jerry and Krishna are excellent and very attentive. Jerry brings great depth of experience to bear on issues and offers alternatives that make sense and are consistent with project objectives. I had Electro Pro back to install pot lights and rewire the kitchen as well during a recent reno.
