We hired Property Werks to take care of our snow this year. It was a great comfort to know that we don't have to go out into the unfavourable weather to shovel and even better if we are away to have the confidence it will be done. Pictures are sent via email after each clearing. Along with clearing snow on time, every time, it is worth it. Strongly recommend.

I had been neglecting backyard hoping the falling retaining wall would last one more year and that I would not need to add a fence on top of the retaining wall (bought house that didn't meet code). However, reality happened this year and I could no longer delay. Jason came out to provide estimate and was very thoughtful on other issues which weren't thought of. Do you get a lot of weeds in this area? How do you get down here to clean leaves from all these trees? Are you having any success with plants growing under these trees? For the fence on top of retaining wall did you think of adding deck railings (pickets) which I hadn't but ended up deciding on fencing running horizontally. Did such a wonderful job I've increased the scope of beautifying the yard so I won't need to do much of anything but admire how nice it is while sipping on a beverage.

Saw on basement floor, signs of previous moisture. Wet wood smell from bathroom above. Frank did a thorough investigation to determine findings. It was less expensive than I was anticipating. Also changed washer and dryer to braided hose. This has been my plumbing company for many years. Definitely recommend for transparency and clarity for pricing and quality materials.

I had recently signed up for emails thinking I would need to get my windows cleaned. When I received the email I thought I should get house siding and gutters cleaned. I wasn’t disappointed, attention was given to the bird screens removing the screws to clean windows. Even skylight cleaned. All these services done by one man, working for one company, one afternoon. Great job. Definitely rehire again.

Jared was hired as he had already worked on the fence between the houses on the other side. Unfortunately when it came to our shared fence, I don't even know what to say - I've attached pictures and you all can decide for yourselves - outside gate to road isn't straight top to bottom (my neighbor came over to put on a new header and add more screws as it was apparently neglected even after it was pointed out to Jared's team). The bottom of my fence isn't even hiding the jagged boards. This picture of gate was to be slanted to the sidewalk - not sure why they thought slanting the brace was necessary. All Jared had to say when contacted...he was already underwater on this job. It's sloppy work and I would not recommend.

I'm so thankful I called Eisses Windows for my house windows to be cleaned. Never realized how dirty they were on the outside until the day the team arrived and tackled all my windows, sills, and screens. Would definitely recommend and will be rehiring again in the spring.

Due to my basement foundation crack I had to have the finished drywall removed and replaced. Beach's sent out a fellow to meet another contractor to coordinate efforts at my house. Beach's pulled down and took away all drywall around the damaged areas. They returned shortly after the foundation repair was made and replaced all insulation and drywall - making it paint ready. They also cleaned up amazingly well. Although I thought it was slightly high for cost (more than repairing foundation), I would definitely recommend them for 'peace of mind'.

My finished basement developed a leak, likely long before I moved in but I just had never noticed the carpet stain before this year. I called Bill and told him what I suspected. He came right over and determined where the cracks were. I do have to say, I thought he would be wrong just because of where the carpet stains were but when the drywall and insulation came off those cracks were exactly where he said they were. Never doubt a professional. I'm just so happy that Bill could accommodate me right away and that with the rest of this winter thaw, there will be no more seepage coming in from those cracks. I would definitely recommend Sealerman Waterproofing for your basement issues.

The stairs outside had nothing to hold onto as you entered or exited the back door. I had visited the showroom at Mr. Wrought Iron and they were very friendly, no pressure, offered some great ideas. Came back a few weeks later and selected design. They sent someone to the house to measure and show the colours you can select (so many). I'm very pleased with the outcome of the railings. I'm thinking I need more iron designs around my home - it is that beautiful. Highly recommend.

I had an old chair that didn't go with anything. The stain was light and the cushion was the wrong colour. With a little inspiration I ended up purchasing the gel stain rather than chalk paint which I usually select. I was not sorry. It was very easy to apply using instructions from the store.

I had recently moved into a new house and knew that the furnace was on it's last legs, I had the usual three quotes with the last gentlemen from Arpi's suggesting I head to Costco due to the rebate Costco would provide. At Costco Arpi's salesman says get the executive membership as you'll be getting money back next year. With rebates and comparison to like furnace makers, I saved over $3,000. I also was apprehensive about the air conditioner by Lennox - it is extremely quiet and am glad I purchased it because Calgary is hot enough to warrant one :)

I hired Essential Renovations early 2015 and a year later I still can find no problems. My renovations are still perfect. I had portion of my kitchen renovated as I needed another oven and more storage along with new glass backsplash. I also renovated bathroom in which I had bathtub removed and raised built in vanity and that was completed with no harm to exiting heated floors. I had a complete renovation of my ensuite bathroom. It's perfect. I also had cupboards added above my washer and dryer. I am glad I was referred to this company. They took care of all the little details I wasn't expecting. A year later and I still am extremely happy. Thank you Maciek and team.

I live in an area that had architectural-control for the first 10 years and had to have wood shakes on my roof. The previous owner had those curly shakes replaced for over $4000 and 4 years later I had more curling shakes. I'm very pleased to have the 50 year roof on my house now. It has brightened the entire house from those drab shakes. Tony William has also added a feature along the many roof lines which is interesting. I would definitely recommend them for the care and attention.

I had recently hired an electrician to add a couple of outlets in my basement of my home I recently moved into. Blair took the time to go through my basement and then asked me about future use asking me question which never occurred to me. Through the questions I have now added more electrical outlets to meet future needs like an outdoor fountain and lighting and updated my panel. Blair also took the time to tie the previous electrical work done at this home back into ceilings. He even cleaned up the mess the drilling created - would definitely recommend.

I had wanted a wood shed in my yard and not those plastic or metal boxes that some stores pass off as a viable shed until the wind fixes it. I had ordered my shed online early this year. I had not seen the sheds this company has available in show room as I figured you've seen one you've seen them all. I was wrong. I had ordered an 8x10 shed with the upgraded slats. I am very pleased with the results. I wasn't expecting the venting or the window with a screen. The glass in doors and the window box I did expect and I'm actually thinking it's nicer than my house. The Shed Solution team at the office were great emailing me with answering my questions, updates and timing. A two-man crew that built my shed finished in one day and cleaned up like that shed had always been in my backyard. I also had an electrician wire it with lighting and outlets now that there are so many cordless garden tools. Highly recommend you won't be disappointed.
