We hired them to finish the 3rd coat of drywall. We got an estimate for that and it was about 3,000. Once they were done they said they could continue on and do the paint then once they were done they said they could do the tile and on and on until they finished it all. We felt pressured to let them keep going since it had taken them so long to get the drywall finished we felt like it was going to take us forever if we didn't let them continue. When the job was finally finished 4 months later for 1000 sq ft from 3rd coat on dry wall our total was 10,000. This was 5 years ago when things were not so inflated. There was just no disclosurer.
