Grant has taken care of our fairly large residential property for the past three years -- weekly mowing, trimming, garden bed weeding, seasonal fertilizing, aeration and spring/fall cleanups. He does a great job and is very approachable. It's so nice to come home to a neatly mowed lawn and to not have to spend our scarce summer weekends on garden maintenance!
We had the basement in our 23-year-old home finished by Dino at Kayland Construction Concepts last year and couldn't be happier! Dino and his sub-contractors did a fabulous job. It is now a warm, comfortable space that enhances the enjoyment and comfort of our home. Dino made numerous suggestions for maximizing the space and improving upon our original vision that we wouldn't have thought of. We very much enjoyed working with Dino -- he is honest, reputable and skilled, but most of all, he takes pride in the quality of his work and that of his sub-contractors.
Pool deck, patio, walkways, front porch
My husband and I hired Elite in the summer of 2011 to replace an old cracked and heaved pool deck and interlocking patio/walkways with decorative concrete. At the same time, we decided to have a small garden area in the front of our house done (nothing ever grew there because it didn't get any light) and to have an overlay installed on our front porch. Elite did an amazing job! Everything looks great and many of our neighbours have stopped to admire the work. The epilogue to this is that -- through no fault of Elite -- the pool deck heaved again in the spring of 2012 because of a leak in the stairs. We had to have our beautiful deck ripped out to have the stairs replaced! I was heartsick! But Elite came back and once again did a superb job of matching the new concrete to the old and offering suggestions on how to separate the two areas with bands of another colour to make it look like we fully intended it! I can't wait to have the driveway done. Raffy and Marcelo are great to work with.

Furnace, central air conditioning and relocation of gas line
We obtained four quotes and, although Summers and Smith's estimate wasn't the cheapest, it was very reasonable. The real difference, though, was that they provided the most detailed and thorough assessment and quote, so we knew exactly what we would be getting. Their crew was very efficient, did a very clean job and answered all our questions. We were very happy with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again.
Replacement of eavestrough, soffit and fascia
Chouinard Bros. did an exceptional job replacing my eavestrough, soffit and fascia. The job was done quickly, cleanly and was reasonably priced. Of the five companies I called, they were one of only two that actually showed up to provide an estimate not only was their price the lowest, but they provided a sample deck to assist us in choosing a color and gave us an extensive list of references. I would not hesitate to recommend George and his crew!
