Marian and his team did an amazing job. Excellent communication and a skilled crew that knew what they were doing. Very impressed with how flat and smooth they were able to get the walls considering how uneven things were. If you need drywall, painting or drop ceiling, they are the guys to call! Would recommend to friends - a solid company!

TLDR: An honest helpful company who solved our problem and saved us a lot of cost. When our roof needs replacing this will be our one and only phone call. Please support the good guys!!! We had a small leak in our roof and water was coming in. I also noticed our shealthing was spongy in a section of our roof. I called C-Star roofing and Sing came the next day. I was ready to start replacing a section of our roof and sheathing, etc. He was up on the roof and I was showing him how spongy our roof shealthing was in the location. He said that is normal for an older house and best to change when changing the shingles. To change now it would cost a lot more and then would have to be redone later. He said our shingles are good and slight sponginess is not causing the issue (I later looked in our attic and the plywood seems okay from the bottom). He showed me where to put some caulking and what to do to stop the leak. He said easy to do it myself and no point him coming with crew and charging for it. He said shingles looked good and we can wait probably 5 to maybe even 10 years to replace our roof!! It is raining hard today (and last night). Zero leaking. I cannot thank them enough! I had even offered to pay for the visit and the advise because it was so helpful and Sing declined. Just a true quality company! When we do need a roof replacement I will be going with C-Star - a company I can trust in.

Colin has done work for the past 2 years as we needed work done on our house. Colin is always focused on the best result and numerous times has made suggestions that were really helpful. Whenever we need something done we call Colin and would not consider anyone else. It is hard to find someone with so much experience, knowledge and focus on really doing things the right way. We've upgraded our main service line and done numerous other improvements and always been extremely happy with the work. When your safety and well being is at stake (with electrical it is), then you want Colin or someone like him doing the work. Just not a place to cut any corners or take chances. Colin is a nice guy who you can really trust to take into account your best interests and is a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend!!

Colin is like a hybrid of Mike Holmes and James Bond - he does things the right way and has all the tools and gadgets needed to complete the job. Colin is also the most organized contractor I've seen and electrical components and tools are labelled and easy to find making work very efficient. Work is still in progress (found more things to address), but very happy with Colin's attention to detail and doing things the right way - a true professional. When it comes to electrical work, the safety and security of your house ultimately depends on the quality of the work.

Woke up with no heat yesterday. Called Evam Canada Inc. and Ed was at our house within just a few hours!! He did proper trouble shooting tests to quickly determine the issues - no guessing! :-) Ed quickly fixed not just the furnace issue (faulty sensor), but a harder to diagnose issue with our Nest thermostat (pin connectors not fully connected due to wires slightly pushing out). The issue with NEST had been going on for a while and had even replaced it once trying to fix the intermittent issue. Ed was also well prepared and had the required furnace sensor on hand, so no running around for parts. IMPORTANT: I had first called one of the big companies and as soon as their phone representative found out that our heat was not working they proceeded to demand the signing of a lengthy service contract PLUS an upfront fee or otherwise they would not come for several days! What nerve. Will not call those guys again. I don't normally write reviews, but after this experience hope to help others in the same situation. Call Evam Canada and get fast fair service from a pro!
