Company Response

Thank you for your kind words Mike. We work really hard to make sure we deliver a product that exceeds our clients expectations. The end result turned out fantastic. We only have one last critic, lets just see if the puppy likes her new digs.
Enjoy the summer!!! Thanks again for the kind words.

Well - More issues with my Milton Ontario Beaverhall home. My home is a perfect example of the level of incompetency Beaverhall performs. Last year I noticed the shingles started to degrade. Now after 12 years I feel that it is a bit early for shingles to start to degrade, but anyhow - I noticed that several houses similar to the design of my home the same thing was happening. I hired a company to replace the roof. Soon into the roof job, the roofers noticed that my home has no baffles in the attic. YES - That is not a typo. My family has always noticed how hot the upper floor is in the summer and ice cold in the winter. Well the big reason for this is that there is no air flow or ventilation in the attic, because the builder did not install any baffles. Also - There were several pieces of plywood that were not even nailed down. So lets review the list of moronic errors this builder has done. 1. Foundation gaps and cracks 2. Failed to install a membrane in the stand up shower 3. Broken A/C unit within the first 12 months 4. Failed Furnace after the first 8 years 5. Missing insulation in attic 6. Poorly installed floor joists causing ceiling sag 7. No Baffles in attic 8. Didn't nail down plywood Anyone up for a collective law suit?

This company is absolutely amazing. They did work for me in May 2012 in which I wrote a glowing review on May 24, 2012. After the bad winter of 2013/2014 the interlock had shifted and sank a little. We called them to see if they could fix it and they were at the house within a week and fixed it beyond what we could have asked for. I have never experienced such excellent customer service by any company in all my life. They truly want to ensure their customers are happy. I am so impressed with duralock. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

My family and I had been considering interlock, stamped or aggregate concrete for the frontage of our home and driveway. We had several companies come out to quote the project, many of which had not returned my calls after they quoted. The Duralock team quoted and completed the job I was looking for to the exact detail. I met with Tony on a Tuesday at which time he provided me a detailed quote, answered my questions, and provided samples of the stone I would eventually choose. He showed me examples of his work and provided reference jobs in my area that Duralock had performed. He also directed me to Homestars to look at the reviews for Duralock. Comparing price, quality of work and most importantly, the timing of Duralocks ability to start and complete the job, I chose Duralock with the utmost confidence. The job was not only completed in two days, it was started and completed within a week of the moment of the quote and only extended because of a long weekend holiday. In reality, the job was completed within 4 days of me receiving the quote. This is not to say that Duralock could perform this speedily for all customers, but they did for me without being asked. The speed of the job did also not negatively affect the quality, but rather demonstrates the efficiency of their workers. What impressed me the most was the job was done well. A very solid and deep base for the driveway and steps was laid, the pattern and stone exactly what I desired, and attention to the smallest of detail. When I had a question, Duralocks repeated saying to me was 'No we do that for you". From the clean up, to the laying of soil and grass seed, to the timely execution of the project, Duralock is highly recommended. Several dozen neighbors have stopped and commented on the project, asked for the company who did the work, and have inquired on cost. This project was well worth the very competative price, and Duralocks quality and professionalism made the decision to use them very easy for me. I strongly recommend Duralock!

I have a piece of advice for those looking to buy a new home. Avoid a BEAVERHALL home at all costs. My wife and I bought a Beaverhall home and at the 2 year, 3 month mark we noticed water marks on the ceiling of our kitchen. These were the result of a very slow leak coming from the shower stall of the master bathroom. Our contractor, Tarion and Beaverhall's own contractor who did the work all confirmed that the problem existed since the house was first finished. Have they come to fix the problem... No and they don't plan to. Beaverhall is completely fine with risking their entire reputation on the fact that the so called new home warranty is 3 months past the timeline. Therefore their so called description of their service, "Proud of their superior customer service, Beaverhall Homes is backed by Tarion. The owners of every Beaverhall home can feel confident that their new home has been constructed to quality standards by a builder who is dedicated to complete customer service." Avoid Beaverhall at all costs
