I paid the website prices for a bath tub and shower stall. Kaayla was quick to respond and easy to work with. Showers have more complexity and hence cost more. The shower took 8 hours to clean. The bathtub 5 hours. They fixed minor grout issues. The workmanship was great. HIghly recommended.

Preparing for winter, I tried to shut off my external faucets (hose bibs). Unfortunately my shutoff valve leaked. I looked up Dima here on Homestars. I sent a message through the Dima website. An hour later, John contacted me and gave me a price. I had contacted others and John's price was the same as another but his rating was higher. John came the next day as promised ontime. He was prompt, professional, COVID safe! No issues.

5 years ago Diego came out and replaced the shingles on my roof. Over the past few years my neighbors have gone with the cheapest quote. Today, we have had 90 km/h sustained winds. My neighbors have lost 20-30 shingles each and will now have to pay again. They currently have bare plywood exposed today with rain and water entering at the seams, damaging their insulation and ceilings. I lost 1 shingle and my under pad is still 100%. I stand behind Professional Roofers. You get what you pay for.

I STRONGLY recommend Professional Roofers. It was a pleasure working with Diego and Oscar. I started my research with Homestars. I called most of the top Homestar rated companies. They provided me with quotes $20K, $10K, $8K and $6K. Each company gave me their pitch. Some used scare tactics, I never called them back, others couldn't match the price or tried to sell me stuff I didn't think I needed. In the end I went with Professional Roofers and I couldn't be happier. No sales pressure. Just the numbers and what he would do, letting me state the options. Diego's advice was sound. What he offered was what I ended up going with. The sales was straight forward. In hind sight, Diego told me everything I really needed to know. They installed a quality 130MPH rated architectural shingle made by IKO. They installed ice membrane around the entire perimeter, garage and house, as well as tar paper over the rest. They replaced 1 sheet of plywood and installed my skylight. They replaced the vents and made 1 new one ( the builder forgot to cut the hole). It was a 2 day job. The crew arrived at 8:30, put out tarps and worked until 4:30, we had rain and thunderstorms that evening. Everything was packed well over night and they finished at a side and made sure the house was ok before the rain started. The next day, they arrived again at 8:30, in the rain. It ended at 9:00 and they went to work for the 2nd day until 4:00. The crew were A1. I watched and photographed it all. They worked safely, like a team and it was hard labour. They only stopped for lunch. I couldn't work this hard. WOW! In the end, they cleaned up, removed the tarps, passed the magnetic sweeper. I looked around after they left and found 1 nail and a 2" piece of shingle. That was it. Considering the yard is a 1/4 acre, I'm VERY impressed.

In 2007 I have an Island property in Buckhorn that needed a new roof. I had a small leak that was coming inside and starting to leave stains. Bill was on-time when he came out to provide me with my estimate. He was the third estimate I receive, but the first to go up on the roof. While up there he mentioned he could see where the water might be coming in. During this estimate visit he applied a free application of silicone (my supplies) to the spots he thought were leaking to help stop further damage until the roof was repaired. He did this at no cost (about 20 minutes). His quote was also the best. He worked unsupervised, removed the old layers of shingles, installed a fantastic roof, left the site clean and (4 years later) all is still great! I didn't know about homestars back then. I do now. I am reminded of this experience as this weekend we had a major windstorm (flipping airplanes at Peterborough airport) and my flashing has blown off. I am immediately going back to his great service.

Very happy with the service provided by Kam! I had a squeaky exhaust fan motor. Kam was on time, pleasant, clean. He arrived at 8PM as agreed. After a quick diagnosis, it was the exhaust fan. He tried lubricating it but to no avail. He had to order a vendor specific part. The next afternoon he returned and made the quick replacement. Everything to this point was very acceptable and average. What I think brought Kam to an above average status was that he didn't just leave, as the noise had gone away, he ensured that all was working well too. As he was checking the exhaust gas flow, he thought it wasn't exactly right. I check my outside exhaust pipe and found a wasp nest had been built ( from last summer) and was blocking over 50%. As it is early spring I simply ripped it out, finding 3-4 wasps present. He then provided me a screen cap to help stop this from occurring in the future. Part's + $100 labor for 2 visits and at least an hour on-site. FANTASTIC JOB! I write this freely, not once was I ever referred/encouraged by him to write this review in Homestars.

After reviewing many options, Clopay, RW, Doorlink, Dodds and trying to do my own research, I called Dave from Burrell Overhead Doors to get a quote. I thought I was convince I was going to buy one type of door. I spoke with Dave and he pointed me towards another manufacturer who I wasn't aware of that addressed my requirements better. Not only did he steer me in the right direction, this manufacturer was offering free windows. So the price was right. Yeah!! Installation today was great! Arrive at 9. Done by noon, just like Dave had indicated. They left the site clean. I am very happy!
