AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I hired Peter to build a custom kitchen in my condo based on his promises that he did quality work, had done many custom condo kitchens and that I would be very happy. I had never hired anyone to do a project as big as this before, and thought that I would be in good hands with Peter. Following is a description of my experience with Peter, and a presentation of the facts. The job was completed Dec. 10th and I was not happy. The tiling was improperly cut and laid with the floating shelves improperly installed, caulking and grout were applied sloppily, under cabinet lights were poorly positioned, were inferior quality and did not work. The hood fan was recessed far up into the cabinet and did not function properly. There was an electric receptacle box just sitting on a cabinet shelf, there were exposed BX cables coming out of the tile, through walls and even zip tied to the conduit. (I found out later no electrical permit was applied for despite by condo board’s requirements.) On Dec 15th 2018 Peter came to address the deficiencies and agreed to remove the open shelves, remove tile and retile the backsplash (if I supplied the tile) and hide the exposed BX wires. I tried to set a date but he informed me he was going away for a month, but promised that he would come back to fix the deficiencies when he returned in the new year. Once I finally got a hold of him in February, Peter first told me that he was injured and would need more time, and then refused to come back to address the deficiencies until I paid him a small holdback, and he also told me that he didn’t care about the “stupid” electrical permit that he did not file. During this time, I started to doubt Peter’s attitude and ability to finish the work properly, so I brought in other contractors to take a look and quote on the kitchen. Each of the 3 contractors I brought in was shocked by the poor quality of the work. When the contractors came in to fix Peter’s work, they discovered even more problems—the kitchen was up to 5/8” off level, and Peter had even attempted to bend a baseboard cut too short to make it fit. My new contractors had to remove the cabinets and reinstall them to make the kitchen more level. They suggested that I take Peter to court. I’ve tried to communicate with Peter, to ask him to share the cost of fixing the kitchen and make things right, but he has not responded. My kitchen has now been fixed at my expense of several thousand dollars, and I am finally happy with the work, no thanks to Peter. I would strongly advise against hiring Peter for a kitchen renovation based on my experience.

Jimmy did a fantastic job installing my dishwasher. Although my new floors posed some difficulty in removing the old dishwasher and installing the new, Jimmy made it happen! Would recommend.
