We couldn't be happier with the result of our new quartz countertops. We went through costco for this contractor, and it turned out to be a good idea. The sales process was a little painful (the sales rep eventually left the company/was fired mid-way through our transaction so we had to start again with someone new). But in the end, the quality of the work is top notch. The installers were very courteous.
I had Gravity do a few projects at my place. It started with a small backsplash job and then we had them do our mudroom. We are also looking to have them back for a couple other ideas. Grant's creativity is second to none and he takes his time to plan to ensure you know exactly what to expect. Great contractor!
Very POORLY built Fernbrook Home
Terrible experience, what a disappointment. We bought our home from what we thought was a "good reputable builder". We have had nothing but problems in the 4.5yrs we've owned the home. At this point in our new home purchase we now have to spend $10,000 to replace our roof...YES the roof needs to be replaced within 5 years and Fernbrook is not interested in assisting (nor is Tarion). We have had 3 water leaks in 5 years and I have had enough of the poor patching jobs and need to get the entire thing replaced (roofers won't even entertain repairs anymore and will only come to replace the roof at this point). We also had to have the front room on the main floor JACKED UP because they forgot to install a load bearing beam in our basement where one was needed. We discovered this after realizing a door wouldn't open all the way as it was hitting the floor half way through. The floor had SUNK over 3" on a span on 8 feet! Talk about quality. I can go on and on..but I think I've made my point. I couldn't be more unhappy and disappointed with this house built by Fernbrook Homes.
