Punctual, perfectionist, and experienced best way to describe Kiya. I wanted to ensure my garage was future proofed for 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers. I had quotes from 5 electricians I found through Homestars. All of the required me to upgrade my full circuit breaker panel to 200 amp from 150amp in order to support the amps rate I wanted for faster charging. They were only able to offer low amps with my existing 150 amp, and even mentioned they had to cut a lot of drywall in my finished basement in order to fish the wires. This is where Kiya stands out from the crowd. Right after I called he came over right away for a quote. He was the only electrician to identify my house was already receiving 200amp, but panel wasn't setup for 150amp. Avoiding a full replacement of the panel and making changes on it. Because of his solution to the problem it helped me in saving cost and time, and even ensured it passes the inspection. He was able to fish the wires without any unnecessary cuts to the drywall, and installed a sub panel in the garage. Now I got fast charging in my garage for my new EV and another ready for the future. I believe Kiya's years of experience is what sets him apart, and impressed me the most. I can't recommend him enough, he is the best to work with.

Had to go with Sam as I trusted him most for my interlock work since his original interlock driveway and garden work is still holding up to this day. We added some walls to the existing interlock he already completed few years back. Additionally washed and sealed pavers. Sam as always was on time and completed the job perfectly. Even did some additional fixes that was required.

Called Cozy World to replace my old Furnace. Robert came by and was very detailed in explaining the work required and the product features of the new furnace. He noticed my existing exhaust pipes weren't to building code.  He advised the installer probably needs to cut through drywall, as it would be difficult to run the new pipes. I was hesitant about replacing furnace now debating should I wait till it kicks the bucket, as I don't want to deal with patching my drywalls in finished basement. Robert advised Saeed is very good at dealing with this complex wiring scenarios and will get him to take a look to see if he can avoid cutting drywall. Saeed came to check it out the following day and he said he can do his best to run the pipe without cutting drywall. Installation day Saeed came with Amir, brought in the furnace without damaging any part of my house, they had their own carpet to ensure no dirt got onto my floors. Took some time to install as they had to play around with the fishing the pipe options. In the end, he was able to complete the job with no drywall cutting, and no mess. I was very happy with the professional service provided from start to end. Loving my new thermostat and furnace. Thank you again Robert, Saeed, and Amir. Would highly recommend this Cozy World team.

I can't thank Sam and his team at Bluemax enough for the hardwork they put in completing my beautiful interlocked landscaping. I called around for multiple quotes from some of the top ranked companies on Homestars and also ones referred to me by friends and neighhbours. I felt Sam provided me the everything I required for the project, good quality material and design that can be delivered on time and within my budget. Sam is extremely patient that he was willing to accommodate some design changes I required mid project without giving me a hassle but even helped me by providing his recommendation on the change ( which I am so thankful cause the stone he picked and the design change he recommended actually looks better than what I would of selected). And I felt he was completely honest when providing his feedback on my design, as he didn't seem to care about cutting corners and skipping steps to complete my project earlier in order to jump to his next project. He actually added even more labour for him just to help enhance the look on my project. Sam and and his crew were here everyday morning to late afternoon working away. I loved the fact that other the providing my original design and selected stones I didn't have to even bother to check up on anything or be bothered to handle any issues that came up. It was such a hassle free experience that I didn't even have to take a day off work. Sam is definitely best contractor I have dealt with so far in terms or kindness, fairness and quality of work. Wish I can have this experience with every contractor. Thank you Sam, my kids and I are out everyday enjoying the beautiful flagstone porch, interlocked backyard, and garden that you have built for us.

One of the downspout came off from the 100km/hhigh winds last Friday. Called a bunch of top rated companies off HomeStars over the weekend, assumed I might have a difficult time booking them since a there was a lot homes damaged and mine was a really small job. Was I right with my assumption some of these guys didn’t call me back, others took my Info and asked for my pics and didn’t call back, some of them quoted for me $600 just to hang my downspout back up and work will be done within two weeks of my call. Was about to go to Kijiji with the rip off prices these guys were quoting me and the no answers, but gave one last call to Solid Eavesthrough, went to voicemail. Got a call back within 10 minutes form Yaron at Solid Eavesthrough. Gave me a good quote way cheaper than the other guys, and said he can come on the same day to fix it. Yaron dropped by very friendly guy, didn’t feel rushed with him. I asked him if he doesn’t mind checking my roof for damages to shingles from the wind, he took half an hour to check this out of his time. And he noticed I had issues locking my fence door fixed the fence door and did the roof inspection for Free. And he finished installing the Downspout with new tighteners of his own. What an amazing service I wish all contractors was like this guy. Does a great job, takes his time to answers my questions and address any of my concern, and goes above and beyond of what he’s required to do.

John and his team did an excellent job on painting my entire house (3200 sq ft). They responded to any concerns we had, and even helped with the colour selections. The job was completed within the time frame provided and quality was beyond our expectation. They made our house feel like a home.

I wanted to mount the LG 65inch OLED TV and my new Samsung Atmos sound bar above my fireplace. But didn't have the outlets near by. After calling a few other top rated contractors from Homestars, I decided to go with TechSystems because Adrian always made sure to respond immediately if I called or texted him. When he came by at the time we arrangned. I told him my vision of how I want the room to look , and Adrian took some time asking and explaining how he'd tackle the job in order to satisfy my requirements. He provided the cost and exact time it'll take him (amazingly he was spot on the time it took him, can't believe he had the energy to work 13 hours straight to get the job done). He had to run the HDMI cables and CAT6, and power cables from one end of my wall to my fireplace at the other side. Also had to run the cable in my wall to where I'd have my stand for my Rogers box, and Roku placed, along with the Wall mounting of soundbar and TV. He ensured he won't have to make cuts in along my drywall to fish the wires, instead he went through the moulding instead (way cleaner). He ensured there is no mess, he made sure when cutting through woods and drilling he always had a dust pan underneath. Didn't have to worry about fixing anything after the job was done which provided me a peace of mind. I thought I was a perfectionist, but Adrian takes perfection to another level, even after working for 13 hours straight he was still there rechecking all his work and checking with me if tv is aligned and all the wires are connected to where I want it placed. And waiting patiently for me to check my Roku, rogers, soundbar settings. Best part was nothing for me to clean up, I was able to sit back and enjoy my new TV and Atmos Sound. I would highly recommend Adrian.

This is first review and first day joining Homestars. I had read reviews on the site before and used a couple of contractors for some other work around the house but wasn’t really that impressed after the service to write a review. But I had to let everyone know what an amazing experience it has been working with Potlights Expert. My friend was raving about Potlight Experts after he initially found them on Homestars and had some work done in his house. I also had other Potlight contractors drop by to provide a quote before and when I called back to confirm appointment they say they’re too busy to follow through with the quote for work provided, and some other ones when I called them they just say how much lights you want and email me a quote without answering my questions. I contacted Houssein (owner), initially I had a few questions regarding the potlights (trim size, kelvins, line violate vs low voltage, etc.), but then I ended up calling him back probably around 6 more times within two hours as I wanted to ensure all my concerns that kept popping up were addressed before I commit. But Houssein was very patient in answering all my calls and providing very thorough answers. We set a time, a week from that initial call and booked today for the job. Houssein and his team came today at the start of the time frame provided 8-9. We walked through the house discussed where I would like the lights. I wanted potlights almost everywhere in the house. But Houssein provided his suggestions and stated more potlights is not exactly better, there is an ideal amount to truly highlight the room without being excessive. Right from here I can tell he is a genuine contractor who cares more about his quality of work instead of quantity. After this Houssein and his team marked the spots where they will drill and walked me through it to get my confirmation. Then the team went ahead covering all the furniture’s, appliances, cabinets with plastic to prevent any dust built up. Houssein even accommodated a change of mind on the location of the potlight after all the potlights were up without giving me any pushback. Once all the potlights were up the entire house looked amazing, can’t believe I was living in my new house without potlights for this many years. To top it off, they even swept the floors, vacuumed, patched any holes to ensure it looks perfect. Another cool point I noticed is they always have someone acting as a quality checker on his team, to ensure all holes are filled, and all the rooms are cleaned, dimmers working, etc. In total I ended up installing 60 potlights and a dining chandelier (main floor-kitchen, dining, family, living, breakfast, hallway, laundry room), basement stairs and entryway, upstairs hallway), this wasn’t the original plan but seeing the amazing quality of work I was receiving at the value provided, I felt like I wanted potlights in every inch of house, even the garage, lol. I definitely will be using Potlight Experts again as I plan on having my exterior potlights in soon.
