I made the mistake of visiting Solace and ordering a Majestic fireplace on the spot due to an enticing price. Delivery was promised in 3 days. When we decided we wanted to change to a Regency 24 hours after ordering -it makes a much nicer flame- we were told by both the sales person and manager that we'd have to pay a 20% restocking fee even though we hadn't even taken delivery . I then said I wanted to cancel my order entirely which he said would cost 50% penalty. We ended up taking our original purchase delivered in 5 days. In addition to avoiding Solace, I would go with a Regency over a Majestic. The Majestic puts out an enormour pilot light wasting gas, and when its on it doesn't have half the appearance of a natural fire like our other made by Regency.
