We ripped out the low quality builder-grade tile and backsplash in our bathrooms and kitchen. Frankly, builder-grade is no grade. Tim the Tiler installed beautiful, heated slate flooring. If you don't have heated floors in this climate, you are missing out big time. He then designed and installed different wall accents in each room. The quality of his work was exceptional. He showed up when he was supposed to show up, did the work he agreed to do, and at a fair price. If you want quality work, this is the guy to call. Is he the cheapest? Probably not. But will you avoid the usual contractor hassles and be happy with his work? We were.
