Hired this company to move us from Surrey to Langley. Movers yes, professional no. After phoning the call centre and arranging for my move, I fully expected someone to get in touch with me to see how much stuff I had. The call centre had assured me that a 5 tonne truck would be fine, but I was surprised that in the month before the move nobody bothered to come out and have a look. Real professionals NEVER do this. Upon arriving an unpleasant fellow named Isaac did wander around to have a look and again assured me that the 5 tonne he'd brought would be fine. The move started well, but went downhill as soon as I left for the new house. When I'd left they were mostly done but it took them forever to finish loading. At our new house they put a deep scratch in a tile with their ramp, cracked a trim piece on our staircase, dented the entertainment unit, scratched an antique dresser and broke the levelling feet off of 3 storage cabinets. Truly impressive given that Isaac insisted that they only carry one thing at a time. This was to minimize damage or perhaps it was to maximize the bill. More upsetting was that they left a bunch of things behind. Enough that I'd need to rent a moving truck to pick it all up which kind of defeats the purpose of hiring a moving company. When I told Isaac I wasn't happy about this he gave the excuse that he hadn't seen how much stuff we had and that he fit as much as he could in his truck. He said it was my fault because I mustn't have been honest with the call centre. He eventually agreed to finish the job but he made it clear that he wasn't happy about it. Given that the final bill to move a 1400sqft, 3 bedroom home was $1342 I didn't have much sympathy for him. Would never use Owner Operator Movers again and will certainly never recommend them. I'm sure there are some franchise owners that are very good but it's not worth risking another "Isaac".

I hired Justin and his crew to replace the polyb plumbing in our house. Every member of Justin's crew was friendly, courteous and easy to deal with. They not only got the job done quickly and efficiently but fixed every other plumbing problem they came across. Including a drain pipe that was not up to code a cracked toilet fill pipe and a warped flapper valve. All done at no extra cost. Pipe replacement is a messy job but they kept things nice and clean. There was still some drywall dust, but that's unavoidable. Would definitely use them again, highly recommended.

Thank you Martin! this means a lot for you to write us a review. We pride ourselves in hiring plumbers that have the same core values as we do and it shows in their workmanship and customer service values. We are happy that you saw this as well! Our guys are fairly meticulous and know that if it was something that they wouldn't want in their house then they don't want you having to deal with it in your house! If it is something that doesn't take much time then we have no problem doing it as an added value bonus for the job. it was cute to see how interested your son was while watching us and some of the questions he had were rather impressive. Hope you and the family are doing good!

We desperately needed to replace the flooring on the 2nd floor of our home and decided to take the plunge and get hardwood. After a few weeks and several flooring companies we decided on a Jatoba floor from Acorn. Our installer was a young fellow named Ryan. To be honest at the end of day 1 I was a little concerned. He hadn't gotten as far as I'd hoped and the place was kind of messy. Worse yet, he'd floored over a pretty bad squeak. I called Ron who came out to have a look. He assured me the problem would be dealt with and wouldn't be that hard to fix. The next day I left work a little early to make sure I got home before Ryan left for the day. I must say that I was impressed by him. He took a lot of pride in his work and was really doing a nice job. The attention to detail was really nice to see. Two days later the job was done, the squeak was fixed and we had a really nice floor. I would certainly recommend them and will probably use them next year to replace our staircase.

Thanks for submitting a review for us. I like handing these to the guys who did the work. From my end of things, this was a pretty typical installation but that squeak was nasty! I am glad that the floor turned out well.
