We are back for more hotwire Magic-all! Hotwire installed our backyard lights on our new patio, deck and also added some lights for our under deck storage and accent light at our tree. Our composite deck had in-deck lights installed with a little remote control called "pico", well named because it is tiny. Hotwire installed about 12 lights on the deck, 3 large LED flood lights and about 10 lights that they put into the patio stones (looks amazing!). They also added 5 outdoor receptacles so that I could connect my BBQ island which includes BBQ lights and a Fridge. Under the deck they installed a special light fixture. What I really like is their initiative and support during the lightning design phase. I do not know anything about electrical, and that is why having someone who understands your vision is so critical. The work was very reasonably priced and was completed within 2 days. Since our backyard was being worked on at the same time, they coordinated everything with our landscapers (M.E. Contracting if you want to know) and we had to worry about nothing. Would certainly use again and again! Do not even consider anyone else if you want a solid design, implementation and quality. Thanks Hotwire team!

The dream team have done a marvelous job! We aimed to turn our backyard into a real useful space and the dream team have really worked their magic. They have worked the project from start to finish, including design, detailed quoting (other companies provided high level estimates -- don't fall for that) and lightning fast implementation. Besides the amazing attention to detail, we never had to worry that they will work part-time on our project. The entire backyard was transformed in about eight days! others told us it could take up to 2 months. M.E Contracting cleared out our backyard, prepped the site and installed a composite two-level deck, with storage under the deck, complex patio with borders and granite stones, new grass with irrigation system, and an amazing glass railing system. They left not an ounce of dirt and responded the next day when I wanted them to fix a couple of minor things (replace a drain). You may be asking what is so amazing about glass railing? Yesterday, Sep 10, 2014 the weather was very nasty at night. We have purchased an umbrella that weighs about 500LB (with special stone weights), well, we forgot to close the umbrella and the winds were so strong they toppled the entire umbrella on the glass railing. It would make perfect sense if the glass broke, but nothing, not a scratch! This is a testament to the quality of the materials they use. I cannot emphasize enough, if you want quality workmanship, top quality materials and lightning fast implementation, you should go with M.E. I know its a long review, and hopefully you find it useful. I recommend M.E. to anyone, anytime. Do not think twice.

Have a design in mind, but M.E can help put the design to paper with their in-house designers and will be proactive in suggesting ideas.

This week my 1.5 year old Whirlpool dryer went belly up. The strange thing is that the control panel worked but the dryer would not spin. I decided I needed "professional" help and called Allied. Been told on the phone that someone will be there within an hour (EXCELLENT!) and that the initial service call would be 60$ plus tax. I agreed to the terms. The repair person came in as promised. Did not remove his shoes, which is fine since some companies have policies against that. Walked into my laundry room and began troubleshooting promptly. 30 minutes later he pointed to a part on my dryer and stated that its the problem and that he would order the part and call me back for replacement. He walked out with a cheque for the visit and never been heard from again... Being somewhat of a "handy man" I decided after a couple of days to order my own part, I ordered it, installed it and... NOTHING. This was not the part causing the problem. So, in other words, I had this guy dirty up the floors, spend my time, take my money and it could have turned into a saga of spending more money on parts I dont need. Lucky for me, google is the tool of choice for us computer savvy "handier men". A quick search on google found that there is a FUSE inside the unit that often is the cause. I verified this by connecting the two terminal directly and all of the sudden my dryer is working again. Nice eh? I ordered the part for $21 and installed myself. I have to say that allied did nothing for me except take my money and give me incorrect diagnosis. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE, THEY DON'T KNOW THEIR BUSINESS. Its my opinion, and I have the invoice to prove this. As far as I am concerned, there are no second chances in this business, this is pure fraud. If a technician is not sure, say you are not sure, you dont know or whatever other language you want to use to convey this message. Further, I dont think a technician should get paid for NOT KNOWING THEIR BUSINESS. THAT IS FRAUD. Taking money for something you do not deliver. Check the newspapers in the recent year, that is exactly what the financial crisis was all about. Thanks for reading this huge post. But I hope it will serve as a warning to companies that this kind of service is unacceptable.

Become honest, learn to say "I dont know", charge only if the service was delivered properly.

Yes, do not use this company. They cannot be trusted as far as I am concerned.

Elecric-All performed the complete electrical work in my 2000 sq ft basement. This included 80 pot lights installed, 60 electrical outlets and about 20 switches. They also performed all electrical cabling, fuse-box work and in addition, they installed CableTV and network CAT5e cabling throughout the basement. Some of the additional work they performed included, central VAC reconfiguration for the new basement and configuring/installing the required electrical for Jacuzzi and shower steamer/wet sauna. Excellent company all around, speak to Oris. The quality cannot be beat.
