I was looking to have a ceiling fan installed in my bedroom but was concerned about my older home not having the proper structure to support the weight and movement. I spoke with David and he was super helpful and explained how he would be able to do the job. David was able to come in to do the work on the weekend, which was very convenient. It took him less than an hour to have everything finished and I'm really happy with the results. I will definitely contact David if I have other electric work in the future.

Over the last few years, I have read so many positive reviews for Green Choice (and Nathan!) on our community Facebook group. When it was time to update our water heater, we gave him a call and within a week, we had a new tankless water heater installed and the old one removed and dropped off for us. Nathan was really knowledgeable about the product and with all of his experience, knew exactly the type of tank we needed for our home. His crew arrived on time and had the job done within 4-hours. They even managed to clean up/replace some of our older gas/water pipes that were connected to the old water tank, so now it looks a lot neater and seamless in the basement ceiling. The price was great, Nathan and his team really knew what they were doing and we are VERY happy with the end results. The tankless water heater gets hot water from the basement to our 2nd floor bathroom in 10-15 seconds, which is almost the same as our older tank. Definitely worth the upgrade!

In the summer of 2020, we had José build an outdoor deck for us. He'd been recommended by some friends who had used him in the past. He came over to view our space and we talked about some ideas and showed him a few pictures we'd found online of what we were looking for. Within a couple of days, he came back with a quote for the work that was comparable to a few other quotes we had received. We liked that he wasn't the most expensive, but we also liked that his quote felt realistic - he wasn't the cheapest either. Ultimately, we chose to work with José based on his reputation and his ability to respond to all of our questions in a timely manner. In the past, we've felt that some contractors didn't have time to go through this part of the process with us or to answer all of our (admittedly, many) questions. The work took a few days and throughout the process, José would explain everything that he was doing. The end result is a beautiful space that we are extremely happy with. The construction is solid and also feels warm and inviting. We are excited with how it all turned out and will be looking to use José again in the future on other projects around the house. (I should add that all of this work was done with José and his team following COVID protocols. They were very respectful about making us feel safe.)

We met with a Nordik salesperson in March, 2019. We were able to get a quote on the spot, and compared to other companies we met with, it was one of the better quotes we received. Based on Nordik's thinner window design, we chose to go with them. A few weeks later, someone came to take measurements, which was a really quick and easy visit. Approximately 4 months later, the windows were ready for installation. We had been told it should be a 1-day job to get everything done. It ended up taking 2 days, however, the work the crew did was great and we are really happy with the end results. There were a few challenges along the way - one day the crew was unable to find parking for their truck and left. (We live in downtown Toronto where parking is limited.) On another day they didn't come at all. We spoke with the team in the office about these challenges and they were apologetic and understood our frustrations. I appreciated their quick responses when I reached out to them. All that being said, the windows look awesome and are a huge improvement for us. We've already had some neighbours comment on how great they look as well. We're looking forward to the benefits new, properly insulated windows will have on our home and we've also noticed a difference in noise reduction. The crew that did the install were careful not to make a mess in the home and did a thorough job making sure it all looked good. We were really pleased with their work.

Had a great experience with Darryl and his Upanoak crew. We had a tree in our small downtown backyard that was beginning to cause damage to our fence as it was outgrowing the space available. After submitting a request for a quote through the website, I received a call from Darryl just a few minutes later and he came to visit in person that same day. Darryl was really knowledgable about what could be done, and also able to provide some background on the tree - the type of tree it was, when he believed it was last pruned and also an approximate age. He returned a week later with his crew to do the job. They were on time and did a fantastic job. It was amazing to watch them climbing into the tree and cutting off the overgrown branches. They were very careful with our garage roof and fence and also with our neighbour's garage roof, which was greatly appreciated. The work took several hours and I was expecting there to be a bit of clean-up for me to take care of afterwards, but, the crew cleaned everything and even used a leaf blower to remove any sawdust that had fallen. They also added a bolt to the lower trunks to help stabilize the tree for future years. The team transformed the tree and have made it look great. We get so much more light in our house and backyard and I'm really happy with the results. Will definitely be using them again for future pruning jobs and will happily recommend the team. Thanks!
