I hired Toronto Tub and Tile to refinish my kitchen counter as well as my table in a shiny black finish. They not only left a mess - sprayed all over my walls and went over the lines into my grout and back tiles, but left a big paint can ring in the finishing. What was worse is that days later the 'finish' scraped right off with a fingernail. It never set. I complained and complained until they re-did it and the same thing happened only worse- they left scratches. I sent photos and they admitted it didnt work but NEVER refunded me. On top of having to pay for a new counter my table was ruined.

- What could this company do to improve their services?
- I think they might do ok work some of the time - but their black paint doesnt work and they should refund customers that pay good money and have their property ruined not to mention the time I wasted dealing with the mess and trying to chase the company down
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Do NOT hire them - spend the extra $300 and buy a real counter!

We would like to apoligize to this customer for the complications we had with a new product we had just recieved. We understand it did not work out at the end of the day. We regret that this was the situation. Not sure if this posting was posted before the fact that we did send the customer back a full refund. Since that day we had switched back to our regualr finishes which has been succesful.
