We are a midsized company in the financial markets. Last weekend we had our large boardroom table refinished by Johnny’s Finishing shop. The table was let than pristine, including: Water marks, scratches, and humidity rippling. In addition to this the other wood in the room was of a different stain and the room lacked coherence. We wanted to have all the damage repaired and the table re-stained to match the cabinets – all work needed to be done on site. John came in and took the time to come down to the office and listen to our concerns and expectations, and supplied multiple routes (and associated quotes) we could take to treat the issues. The work done was excellent. His team came in on off business hours so we did not have any disturbance to regular business flow. The end result it just beautiful - even better than we had expected. We made the mistake of hiring a contractor from the yellow pages…what a mess. A lot of very expensive projector screen paint was wasted, and the work done was an embarrassment to us in the main room we hosed clients in. Creative Painting came recommended to us at a time where we desperate for a solution and had less than enthusiastic feelings towards the trades industry. Alex took the time to come downtown several times to discuss our expectations, color choices and to make sure he had a complete write-up of our needs. In the end he and his team did a phenomenal job. They completely re-built the wall so we could start new and fresh. We could not have imagined a better job (and trust me we looked for any errors).
