This was my 3rd move with Rent-a-Son so my expectations were high - and they delivered quality service yet again. They must have great interviewing skills when they're hiring staff - each member of the moving team (Jaquon, TJ, and Nick) were personable and friendly and treated my belongings with care and respect. I had one particularly large and heavy solid wood cabinet (with glass doors and 6.5 ft tall) and they still managed to move it carefully to the new location. And that type of service is why I continue to recommend them to everyone I know!

This company is just the best. This was my second time using Rent A Son and they did not disappoint. My moving coordinator, Erika, really knows her stuff - had all the right questions to get the details just right and her time estimates for the move were spot-on. The fellows who performed the actual move were outstanding: Junior, Jowel, Brandon, and Devon. They were pretty prompt arriving and got right down to business. Not only did they treat my belongings with care but they were just super nice guys. They even handled two (2) heavy solid wood cabinets (6.5 feet by 3.5 ft). With the final invoicing there were some questions around a parking ticket but they investigated and sorted it out. Just a great team overall. I expect to need another move within the next few years and I'll definitely be using them again! Highly recommended!!!

My fridge was not cooling but my freezer was working. I called a few other companies but spoke only to people booking appointments - and the first appointment available was at least one (1) week later. But Modern Appliance was different - the repair technician (Peter) actually called me when I sent an email. He had specific instructions to help diagnose the problem AND avoid any potential damage until he could visit on a service call. So many positives: - He knew what he was doing! - I had three (3) different ways to contact him (email, phone, and text) - Service was efficient and effective Any appliance issues in my future, I'll be calling Modern Appliance!

Frank did an amazing job - very respectful of my home, worked with challenging installations, and the results are outstanding. He installed sheers plus drapes on three windows all of which go right to the ceiling which is concrete. Plus the master also had a corner window (two windows that met in a corner) requiring elbow connectors and a lot of careful attention with the brackets. His work was great and I will definitely call Frank for handyman work again in the future!

I was having trouble finding an area rug for an awkward foyer layout. The solution was Flor rug "tiles". You can select from MANY colour and texture combinations and each "tile" is @20 inches square. They're attached to each other (not the floor) with adhesive "dots" and can be removed easily for cleaning. I worked with Kathryn at the store in Yorkville to select a pattern. Outstanding product and great service.

I replaced all my appliances and had Nick from Top Gun perform the installation. He installed the new dishwasher (and removed the old one), a microwave/hood combo above the stove, and ran a water line to the new fridge. He was obviously quite experienced and knew exactly what he was doing. He worked quite efficiently and had everything completed in no time. Great service.

I had in-home visits and estimates from 3 different companies. The quotes were all very simliar but Yair from Superior Closets went above and beyond. He was particularly creative in getting the most function out of each closet and was superb with call-backs and communication regarding installation. The installers were awesome (Jo Jo is great) - not only were they quite efficient but everything was done very well and the cleanup was lovely. If I move again I will definitely call Superior once more for the closets.

I contacted 3 different companies for estimates. Only 2 called back and Rent-A-Son was by far the most pleasant to deal with. The estimate was reasonable but what was outstanding was the ability to reach them. I had a personal contact number and they ALWAYS called back - wonderful. Plus, on moving day, they were punctual, efficient, and courteous. They were particularly careful and attentive with my things - love that. Next time I move I will only seek one quote and I'll go with Rent-A-Son again!

I've used In Living Colour twice now to paint my entire home (interior) and Dave (owner) is simply the best. He's professional and meticulous - the outcome is always outstanding. He's very efficient with estimates and does a great cleanup job afterward too. I will definitely call this company again for future jobs.

Paul was great. Contacted me within one hour of my first voicemail. Confirmed a time and general estimate. He confirmed the time a couple hours before arrival, was very professional and efficient. Not to mention, very pleasant. I will definitely call Paul again in the future!
