We had just completed a new stone patio for our backyard and only needed a new railing for our staircase. Based on their stellar reputation, we opted to have the job done by Alumarail. We were put in touch with Edward and Sal regarding this project. When Sal dropped by to take measurements of the staircase, we found him to be very pleasant, enthusiastic as well as very knowledgeable and professional. We decided to go along with Sal’s suggestion for the design and outer finish to match our patio. Edward took great care to get the new railings prepared and delivered for installation, which was done to perfection. The final result is absolutely stunning!, including the finish, much better than we anticipated. The railings alone have upstaged the patio itself!. They are an immediate eye-catcher that have the attention and envy of our next door neighbours. My wife and I originally discovered a tiny water leak in the corner of one room in the basement of a house we recently purchased, which seemed to occur every winter. This leak was not significant enough to cause any damage but it was worrisome nonetheless. In order to try to avoid possible worsening of the situation, we came across Canada Waterproofers and eventually met with Carl, whom we found to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. He almost immediate identified the cause of the leak which was a barely noticeable crack in the foundation in the side of our home. As the quote was quite reasonable, we proceeded with the repair. On the day of the job, we were met by Ted and another gentleman whose name we regrettably did not catch. The work they did was absolutely top-notch. In the end, there are no signs whatsoever that the ground by the affected foundation that was patched up had been disturbed. I suppose that next winter will be the real test, but we now have peace of mind and are confident that the situation is resolved. As Carl and Ted were very professional and pleasant to deal with, we are certain we made the right choice and would not hesitate in recommending Canada Waterproofers to anyone else in a similar situation. We originally hired Victorious Flooring to upgrade the carpet in the recreation room of our new home when we moved in mid 2017. As part of the ongoing process of gradually improving our new home, we were anxious to install a new basement hallway floor and stairway carpeting, and in the process get rid of old ugly tiles that were an absolute eyesore. Mark Aydin, along with top-notch installer Mike once again did not disappoint. The new basement hallway floor looks absolutely amazing as well as the stairway, which now has some attractive and comfy carpeting. Beautifully done, and a genuine pleasure dealing with you guys. We will definitely get a hold of Victorious in the future should we require another flooring job. My family and I had just recently moved into a new home in the summer of 2017. Unfortunately, as most of the windows in the house were original and in poor condition, they urgently needed to be replaced before winter arrived. We decided to obtain a quote from Galaxy Windows, who already appeared to have a stellar reputation on HomeStars. We originally met with Dmitri and were very impressed by his confidence, knowledge, and amount of information he offered. We also considered his quote to be very reasonable considering that his covered almost all the windows of the house including the patio door. On the day the job, we were met by Alex and Vlad who proceeded to quietly go about their business and completed the entire job in one day installing top-of-the-line windows with breathtaking quality. They also took great care to protect the floors and clean up thoroughly upon completion. Not only were we impressed by the overall quality of the whole job, we should mention that Dmitri and company were absolute gentlemen when it came to following-up and correcting a minor mix-up with the locations of a couple of windows (that’s life and mistakes do happen!). This now seems insignificant considering the general professionalism, quality and timeliness of the job. Needed a carpet replaced the recreation room of a newly purchased home. This was somewhat urgent as the 'big move’ date was approaching. Initially spoke with Mark who helped get the ball rolling. Almost immediately after, received a visit from ace carpet technician Mike who arranged to have the job done early the next day. Man, I can only say the I am quite 'floored' by the impeccable quality of the carpet and installation job. The room looks absolutely fantastic! Not only did Mike get the carpet set up in no time, he also vacuumed it and removed the old carpet, underpad etc. ! A big thank you guys! Won't hesitate to recommend Victorious to anyone I come across needing a carpet job. Take care... :)
