We found Solarium Repairs through Homestars. After having read all positive reviews, we contacted them in 2015 to get some work done in our crawl space under our sunroom. Andy was very busy then. This winter in February, one of our front vertical glass had cracked. We contacted Andy who obliged us to come take a look. Having gained confidence from his talk, we contracted him to replace all front glass windows which was a 3 days job. When Andy started work, he found that the main beam and the support post had collapsed due to rotten wood and carpenter ant damage. This was a shocking news to us both in terms of cost and the time its going to take to have it all fixed. Throughout the work Andy displayed amazing professionalism in explaining to us the extent of damage and the work he is going to perform. He was also very considerate in pricing the total repair. Though it was not cheap, we were fully satisfied with his work, especially his attention to detail and addressing every major/minor issue which came along the way. During the complete project pictures were taken at every step and documented. Andy with the help of Cory, his young assistant worked through the sweltering heat and humidity of June/July to get this major structural repair done in less than a month. Though we were dealing with Solarium repairs for the first time, we saw the dedication behind the work being performed and were confidant of the outcome. Its now 2 months since the job was complete and we had some heavy rains. We found no leaks. Thank you Andy for your excellent work. There are no words to express the honesty, dedication professionalism you displayed throughout this major repair project. We wish you all the very best.

For long Dean Harris has been doing all our sun room repairs. We have known Dean since we moved in our home in 2008. He replaced our roof glass, fixed our leaks, always a professional. But, unfortunately since 2 years we cannot get hold of Dean. We left several voice mails but no return call from Dean. Instead Todd turns up. He says Dean is too busy. Trusting the company we contracted jobs for fixing our leaks in the sun room. Job A. fixing leaks, he said we need to do ridge flashing and I wanted heat cables installed. went ahead with the project last fall. While I was at work in a remote location, get a call asking for increasing the ridge flashing from 2 feet to 4 feet. trusting them asked them to go ahead of course with increase in price. Now this spring when the snow melted we had several leaks. called Todd to come and have a look. Todd explained the leaks were due to new patio door we installed (we did not go through Todd for patio doors as their prices were almost 3 times of standard price). The leaks are still existing every time it rains. Now Todd says we need to re-caulk all the roof glasses. Job B. Contracted Todd to add a chimney cap to our chimney. again did this job last fall. This spring when we had a down pour our Master Bedroom floor swelled up due to water leak through chimney. found a lot of water coming in. Complained to Todd about the leak. He said we need to do chimney flashing which he did not do last time as he only did the capping. All these years we never had a leak but all of a sudden we get this big leak. Asked for a quote to fix this problem and we get a quote for a rip off price of $4900 + hst. Finally we had to contract another roofing specialist who did the flashing for a mere $600. I totally lost trust in this company and will never recommend this to any one. To summarize, their quality/workmanship is poor. They dont stand behind their job. they ask for more money to fix the job what they did earlier. They almost scared me into going into fix my sunroom floor and said there will be severe damage if job not done sooner of course for a ridiculous price. Upon second opinion this is no the case and the floor/crawl space is totally dry with floor joists intact.

demonstrated confidence and professionalosm from the very beginning. They gave us a detailed job description and followed it to the letter. They spent time with us to give us proper recommendations on other outdoor/tree care questions we had. Friendly and polite. Only draw back if any is hard to get on the phone, but, this is insignificant as they are well equipped to spontaniously reply to you over email. They have a laptop in vehicle to send and receive messages. I will surely recommend them for any tree cutting, tree care job. Very good business ethics. It is money well spent.
