My Opinion in Nanaimo

Purchased four pieces of furniture for temporary needs. They consisted of two night stands, one entertainment center and a two piece bookcase. They are known as RTA or ready to assemble and in the past, were known as K.D. (knocked down) furniture. The merchandise is manufactured off shore and is packaged in as many pieces as possible to take up as little space as possible in the overseas shipping container. As a result, the assembly takes hours and is extremely frustrating. The manufacturers do not provide any written assembly instructions, only a few general pictures and you have to figure out the assembly procedure by trial and error. It is for this reason for only one star. It's not worth the effort to spend the better part of two days putting together low end furniture. This is not a fault of the retailer, JYSK, but is the reason I do not recommend purchasing anything that requires assembly from this establishment. It's just not worth the rime and effort! You get what you pay for and you might want to keep this in mind. I sure will.
