I hired the Patch & Seal Team to install a ramp into my garage and seal my driveway, and I have to say that I was extremely pleased with the results. The guys were very conscientious, careful and worked very diligently with the work. The application was neat with no excess spray, and the ramp was constructed to my expectations. They used a power compactor to tamp down the asphalt on the ramp (I have seen other companies do this manually) so I am confident it will last. And the work was completed at a competitive price to I would strongly recommend the Patch and Seal Team.

This is a public service announcement. If you have Moen faucets , don't call Faucet Fix (or any other plumber for that matter) as they do not carry that product in their vans as you have to order them from Moen directly (and they were FREE). I felt ripped off as I still had to pay a hundred and sixty bucks for Faucet Fix to tell me this information, and then a further 160 to have them come back and do the work. I understand that they are running a business but one of the reasons I selected FF is that they advertise that they stock all parts and a complete range of fixtures right on their trucks, which is clearly not the case. It would have been appreciated that they asked me what type of faucet I had this prior to booking them. That said, the technician arrived on schedule, was friendly and apologetic about the problem (but he still collected the 160). As for the repair, I easily did it myself following the instructions from Moen that were really clear (though i also watched a couple Youtube video as as the value was a little snug coming out). Caveat Emptor.

I would definitely recommend Maize Eavestroughing. The work looks good, the price competitive and was completed in a timely fashion. I found the team to be very polite and hard working, and they left my property clean and orderly; you wouldn't have known that they had been there. Just after the installation, we had some massive rain falls and the eavestroughing performed perfectly. All in all, I am one satisfied customer.

I was losing significant water in my swimming pool and was becoming quite anxious. I called several pool companies and got little to no response - either they were too busy with core customers or didnt return my calls. GBI booked me intermediately and i couldnt have been happy with the response and the work completed all at a competitive price. Mark came out, explained what he was going to do, found a couple of holes which he photographed to show me, and then promptly repaired them. Twenty four hours later, the water is still holding and my anxiety (and water bill) have both dropped. I normally open and close my pool myself, but as i get older, i will be signing up as a regular client with GBI as i totally recommend this company.

I would recommend Patrick and the Carpet Repair Guys. I had some major ripples in my upstairs carpet which was not a repair that i would ever think that i needed to be done, but since i couldn't close my doors without rubbing on the carpet, you have to get it done. The work was completed for a reasonable price and comes with a guarantee. I had to vacuum up afterwards which i really didn't mind as his prices were lower than the competition, and it enabled me to get a real close look at the work (which appears to be done quite well). Apparently rippling is quite common in new home construction and I was really surprised how much the carpet had to be stretched to remove the waves.

Having water leaking into your basement is a pain (and a few other adjectives) so i wanted it fixed right. I had a number of companies provide estimates and went with Ottawa Building & Foundation for a few reasons. They all had good reviews and i am sure would be fine, however, during the inspection, Nathan noticed several things that i hadn't seen nor any of the other estimators did as well, so it was with this initial review gave me confidence. Partnered with the great warranty, i knew it would be fixed right. My repair was quite a challenge for the team (a few cave ins), but they were always positive, hardworking and good representatives of the company. They kept my property clean and i am very satisfied with the results, and would recommend Ottawa Building & Foundation without any hesitation.

I was impressed with All Around Fencing and would definitely recommend them. They built a couple of small decks for me and the workmanship was solid, the team dedicated and friendly, and installation very accommodating. I think that they may have been a little more expensive than some of the other estimates i received, but i went with them because Ryan asked me questions about how i came about with what i wanted, and offered suggestions that may make for a better design. (He was right). All Around was very flexible with my work as I had other work being done that was delayed which caused them to reschedule my work a couple of times. The change was done without complaint or issue, and something i really appreciated.

I have a pool in my backyard surrounded by a standard pool deck, along with a stamped concrete patio. Portions of the deck and patio were settling differently resulting in upwards of 3 inchs between the two surfaces (which i was frequently kicking and tripping over). I called a couple of local companies for estimates and they were not quite ready for the season so I called Poly-Mor Canada (who work out of Toronto and will come to Ottawa when they have several jobs to do). Poly-Mor uses a lightweight polymer resin does not add an additional weight to the property so should help stabilize future settling (or so they say). I believe this is much more expensive than the traditional concrete raising approach, but I decided to go with Poly-Mor because of their 10 year warranty - if there is any further settling, i will be looked after. The work was done very efficiently by a team who are very proud of their work and the company. The results were great and given all these factors, i would recommend Poly-Mor for similar work.

I would strongly recommend Century roofing, I was very impressed with the entire process and with the dedication of the team. This positive experience began with John as he walked through the estimate (literally an hour and a half) where he explained the products they used and how they would be applied. During the installation process, the team was equally thorough, even moving some of the vents to improve the air circulation from the original house design. They were hard working, polite and kept my property clean as throughout the installation. The final reason i chose Century roofing was for the guarantee - I know that i will have nothing to worry about given how well everything was done.
