Melissa and her staff are fantastic. I have used them a few times and they never disappoint, this time they actually outdid themselves. They did a kitchen waterfall island, along with the countertops and backsplash, a custom bathroom vanity, custom bookcases countertop, as well as an entrance way step. The kitchen should be in a magazine its so gorgeous. The build was in a basement and stone is extremely heavy. Imagine taking a full slab weighing hundreds and hundreds of pounds down a steep set of stairs and no room to pivot the stone to get it through the doorway. well the 6 guys came and made it happen, it was very tough and they did it inch by inch working as a tight team and not a single damage to the sone or my newly built basement apartment. kudos to them, I have nothing but accolades for this company. I will definitely be using them on our next project. thanks again

We wanted to do our basement in this house where we have been for almost 4 years. We had previously used Guy and his crew at a previous house and i think was their 246th basement, now years later we were around the 2000th basement. The company has grown into a well oiled machine. From the meetings with Guy and Stephanie all through to the end (which was very fast) we had great people helping along the way. The basement is stunning and now we have a perfect space downstairs to fill our needs. Thank you to Guy, Stephanie, Roberto, Victor, Fabio, Ryan, Lisa, Santi, Claudio and Josh, plus all the amazing trades, the framers, drywallers, painters, electricians and plumbers. They were all so professional and such experts at what they do. Would i go back for a third time, absolutely. Definitely would recommend you going to Penguin Basements for your space. Joseph, Sarah and their team of installers were amazing from the get go. Joseph was patient, helpful and full of ideas how to best make some of our challenging closets work for us. In the end we did 10 of 12 closets in our house and i couldn't be happier. The customer service and details we received from Sarah in the office was fantastic. Rob, Drew & the staff at Glen Echo did a fabulous job, they stuck to our budget, Came when they said they would, were easy to work with, my yard is like an oasis.

Jamie Dwyer and his crew are fabulous, they designed and built a fantastic huge 2 level deck within a very short amount of time. Cleaned up their work, helped out a neighbour and provided great customer service to us. Since then our neighbours have used them to build a deck and another to fix their gate. All around a great company.

We needed a plumber to connect 2 new sinks and faucets as well as a few other odd things. Steve Stern came and was very professional, had to use some of his own parts as the previous people that took away our sinks didn't leave the pieces they should have. My bathrooms now look fantastic. Great job, thanks so much for your help and skills.

When i called the guys in i had a high level idea of what i wanted but they took that, expanded on it and provided us with a 3-d drawing. we went back and forth tweaking it until we were happy with it. Once they started to build, they helped us to co-ordinate the other trades and helped us to find a couple of them that we had no referrals for. They took on some extra work as it came up on the job and kept the area as clean as possible considering the type of work that they were doing. They worked hard and were honest and professional at all times. We have used these guys at my previous house as has my parents and their neighbors. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to do work on their house. The saying you get what you pay for is perfectly suited here, we had neighbors do stuff similar for less money, those pillars have sunk or the walls are now leaning as they were done cheaply. chris came out in the rain to power-wash our deck and prepare it for when he could come and sand and seal it. as the spring had been quite wet the only two days in a row in the near future that would be dry was the upcoming long weekend. He came on the friday and did the work with help of another person and i think both those days he came out just went above and beyond what most business people do these days. The quality of the work is great and talking to the jennifer and ryan was easy and they were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They fit us in as we had a tight time-line to get this done in.....beyond professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get this type of work done. Not to mention their estimate was right on the money with the 2 other guys we had come out and by far the best customer service.
