John has been my handyman for at least a decade. He always delivers with a friendly smile and a goofy joke. Strong work ethic, attention to detail and reasonably priced. Our latest project was a refresh of some closets. They were completely gross and he made them look like new so we could list the house for sale.

John is a delight to work with, I’ve been using him for all my home projects for five years now and I would wait for his schedule to open before trying to find anyone else. He does a great job, has a positive attitude and is generally pleasant to be around while he works. I had him in to take down wainscotting that was covering my entire living room. He refinished and repainted the walls and installed some gorgeous crown mouldings that I get constant compliments about. I’d highly recommend John for all your home improvement needs!

These guys were very patient, especially considering it took me three months to agree to hire them because I had a nightmare neighbour on one side who was refusing to pay her fair share. After a lot of back-and-forth and having to delay the project, I finally got it sorted out and these guys had the fence demolished, removed, and replaced in a matter of days. They were very accommodating throughout my whole ordeal. I would definitely recommend them!

I am really disappointed with this company. I was thrilled with them in the beginning. I worked with Alex, who I thought was very knowledgable and sincere when going over everything that I needed for my home. When it came time to do the work, Vadim and his crew were on time every day and did not leave a mess behind. I don’t know who Paul is that everybody else mentions, I never talked to a Paul. The guys told me that Paul had trained them and that he was older now and he they were taking over… Whatever I was very happy until they installed the incorrect window in one of my bathrooms and I have Now been waiting for months with zero people getting back to me about getting this fixed, when they told me it would be just a few weeks. I am really easy going but after attempting to get this fixed NINE different times on my end, I’m done. I refuse to pay a dime for this, luckily I had a deferred payment for financing, and I am not going to pay a cent until it is fixed so it is in their court now. Tread cautiously. They are great at selling and installing but if they screw it up, you are on your own. My neighbour gets a free show every night since they did not install the correct frosted window.

We are renovating everything, so I had a lot of work for John. Over the course of a month, he showed up on time every day and dealt with all unexpected challenges. He had a long list, and completed everything to my satisfaction: .. added crown moulding to my dining area and kitchen .. painted kitchen cabinets and installed new hardware (required some drilling) .. full renovation of two powder rooms: vinyl floor, new vanities, light fixture, accessories, trim and paint, as well as an accent wallpaper wall, and switching a door to open outward, replacing transition strip ...Lots of problems in one room, and he handled every challenge like a pro .. full interior painting 2,000 sq ft, every wall, ceiling and trim I’ve included a before and after of the nightmare powder room that is now my favourite little room!

I called Garage Door Geeks based upon the reviews here on Homestars and I was not disappointed. They came out and replaced my broken, loud and outdated motor that used to shake the house with a delightfully quiet, working unit. I did not expect same-day service. It was a wonderful surprise!

I'm gonna go ahead and be cliche and say, "wow!" Theo, Nestor, Alex, Ruben and Nico did an incredible job. When I spoke to Ben for the estimate, he warned me they may actually need two days since we had many red walls, as well as colour throughout the house and we're switching to a lighter, neutral colour for listing to sell. They still got it done in one day, and I needed three coats in many places! These guys worked over ten hours to complete my job in one day. I was highly impressed and definitely will use them again in my new home.

Moving our furniture sent dust and fur flying everywhere due to a shoddy vacuum job on our part. (I blame my husband!) We were all coughing and a couple of the guys wanted to leave, as is their right, but I asked if they'd work with me to get it done... asked them to take a break and let us re-vacuum and they did and it's all done and good now. A+ customer service!l

We bought a 25 yr old house that had the original furnace and AC, so we figured we'd replace them both at once. Our sales guy, Dave was very thorough in explaining all options available and how each thing worked differently. Best, they came and did the job right away and were in and out in one day. We decided to get the ducts cleaned as well, and when they first got here they advised against it as we were still renovating. They could have taken our money and not said a word, but instead they rescheduled. Steven and deshawn were very friendly and efficient. They showed me all the gunk that was built up in the ducts and the after images were sparkling clean. I definitely will keep using these guys going forward.

We bought a new house and it stunk from years of pets and carpets. We hired Aspen to redo the entire house (approx 2400 sq feet) as well as the two sets of stairs. Jim, the sales consultant was fabulous. He took the time to explain the differences in the types of wood and finishes and helped recommend the best choices for our new home. Freddy and his crew busted their butts and got the job done on a really quick timeline (we wanted to move in 3 weeks after closing, so there wasn't a lot of time from start to finish.) Every encounter I've had with everyone at this company was positive. 5 stars all around!
