New Ridge Refinishing Group was one of three companies that Homestars recommended to me in July 2018. I contacted the recommended companies, but only Lory at Homestars got back to me in a reasonable time with a price that was well within my estimated budget. She, along with two of her people completely sanded and refinished the floors beautifully within a short period of time. A few days later after the floor was dry, I phoned Lory and inquired if they might be available to put my bedroom furniture back in place because I didn't have anyone else. I live in Oshawa and she stated that they would not be able to come until about 8 o'clock that evening because they were just finishing a job on the west side of Toronto. They came a little bit earlier than that, and then they had to drive back to Toronto to go home. That is typically what a family business is all about! I have never been more disgusted with any company that I have ever done business with. They didn't want anything to do with me once they cashed my cheque. It was almost impossible for me to get them to return my telephone calls. Three days after I had the $3300 asphalt driveway paved I shouldn't have to go to Canadian Tire and get patching material to fix holes. They refused to come out and take a look at my complaint.
