Great service from Trevor who responded quickly to the request for a quote for replacing a section of the original vent stack and inspection of the drain. The quote was reasonable and all work performed quickly. I was amazed at the amount of work that was done within the day. This included breaking up portions of the slab to make new connections from two additional drains to the main drain and working is some very restricted areas between floor joists. Everything was cleaned up and new concrete laid within a few hours. These guys know what they are doing and do it well. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Time to replace equipment after more than 20 years. It all worked but showing age and better to deal with in the fall than in February when it will surely give up. Craig took as much info including pictures by phone and email to be able to give a good assessment. He still came to the house to review everything on site. Personable, did not try to over-sell us and in fact declined the opportunity to replace the humidifier when he determined that it was still perfectly good. Installation was set for a couple of weeks out. The men showed up promptly in the mornings to start the two day project. Everyone was tidy and courteous and a pleasure to deal with. New furnace is functioning quietly and smoothly. Nothing but good words for this work.

Service was as prompt as could be and parts arrived with only one day's wait. Technician was good with his mask and efficient with his work. Called ahead so we had a good idea of his pending arrival which was good too. Also pleased that he noticed some part of the humidifier had been installed incorrectly which wasn't what his call was for, so that was a treat to have it corrected all at the same time. All covered by Enercare, but would have been close to $1200

We’ve purchased appliances from Caplan’s previously and never had any issues. This time we had good sales help from Jeff to narrow down our selection and purchased a washer and dryer. The project went south with the delivery crew, who roughly manhandled the machines up the steps with little apparent care. The machines were to be delivered to the basement through the window opening, (at grade), which had been described to Caplan’s at the time of sale. The crew decided there was no way they would do that. They would not move anything “over their heads”. The sill on the inside is at only 49”. They were considerably taller. If we could get them in ourselves, they would gladly return to complete the install and charge us for the privilege. The machines were abandoned, exposed at the side of the house without even leaving the new hoses for us to do the hook-up. Thanks to Jeff who personally delivered the missing hoses. A second attempt for the following day using a different crew resulted in a no-show, with no courtesy call to confirm one way or another if he would be there at all. On the 3rd day, we did it all ourselves with no difficulty. Not a huge deal, but shouldn’t have had to think about it at all. Just beware that not all of their crews will earn some of the glowing reports seen here. Be prepared to do it yourself.

Superlative from beginning to end. Alex is knowledgeable and honest in his assessment of the project and his advice on how to address the buyer’s needs. On time. Quality product. One of the most efficient and hard working installation crews I’ve seen in action. Good attention to details and despite unforeseeable issues in a 100+ year-old house, addressed problems to ensure the installation was done properly at a very fair price. Alex came by towards the end of the day to make sure everything was good. He did a full walk-thru detailing the differences and operation of each window type and ensuring that they worked as promised. A good close out to a hot, hard day. All in all, we could hardly be happier.
