Moved into a new house. Needed to replace the hot water heater, install a new gas stove, and install a new line for a BBQ on the deck. Seasonal Home Comfort was extremely easy to deal with, gave straightforward hourly or by the job pricing, and did excellent work. To complete this job they needed to come out twice. They also found an issue with my existing gas line and were able to ensure that all of my appliances worked flawlessly. I can't recommend this company enough. They're a real bright spot when it comes to communication, transparency, and quality of work.

Purchased new king bed frame and night stands from Naked Furniture. This is our second purchase from Naked. (Repeat customers.) The selling points for me are the quality of the furniture that Naked produces (this is not your kit bed made from particle board or MDF) and their customer service. When a wrong part was shipped with our new bed, Brian came to our house the same day to ensure that our bed was complete and spent the time ensuring that everything was perfect. I am happy to recommend Naked and Brian.

Referred through a deal from my employer, I decided to purchase shutters for my bedrooms based on Finecraft's price and local production facility. The quality of the shutters is good, not great. And that's where the good news ends. The installation of the shutters was poor. The installer had to come back twice, left a mess (and a hacksaw among my kids toys), and installed the shutters in a way that they frequently pop open. Furthermore, the owner, Ron, is a pain to deal with. He's loud and rude. He's willing to support his product as long as you have cash. I would gladly pay more not to have to speak with him again.

My garage had a non standard (small) door width that I wanted to expand. Of the 10 or so companies that I called only two were willing to take this job. (Most suggested that I have a carpenter work on the opening first.) Open Sesame was one of the two. Steve is clearly in demand as his answering machine is always full. Even so, he was able to accommodate my schedule coming once to expand the opening before work was done to my driveway and again later to install the new door and motorized opener. His work is very good quality. I did have a problem with the door due to the slope of the driveway (not Steve's work) that Steve came out and fixed at no charge once the driveway slope was adjusted. Steve is an honest an easy going guy. Very easy to work with. If you can book him I highly recommend him.

I had a single piece of asbestos left sitting on top of the furnace in my home. David came out to investigate the removal. He explained that the removal was simple for him and volunteered that he would drop by to do so if I simply gave him a call before my renovations started. When I called he was there the next day, was in and out very quickly with no mess. David was a real pleasure to work with. Clearly a true professional who understands this business. I would recommend speaking to David for any asbestos removal and would definitely use Amosite again.

I spoke with several companies about removing two large Siberian elms from my property. Todd and Jen came across as very knowledgeable arborists with a lifetime of experience. They did not disappoint. The trees were removed and the stumps were ground down professionally and carefully. I also had them do some general cleanup of other trees in my yard. We did have a misunderstanding over the price of the job that we were able to clear up on the phone. My one complaint is that, like many good, hands-on contractors, it is difficult to get Todd and Jen on the phone as they are busy working in trees all day. I suggest calling in the early evening in order to speak with them.

Dominic and co did an amazing job digging up my existing concrete driveway and laying down a new asphalt driveway. Particular attention was given to drainage for my very flat driveway. In the three months since the work was done I have had no problems and have had much better use of this part of my property. Morpac is professional, meticulous, and the people are very easy to work with. I have already recommended Morpac several times and am pleased to recommend them here as well.
