I had Novak Aluminum replace my aluminum soffits, facia, and gutters in 2019. The job was perfect. On Saturday October 15, 2022, strong winds caused a piece of soffit to come off, so I contacted Novak. They came out Monday October 17th, and replaced the piece, and other minor fixes. You really can tell a great company by the kind of customer service you receive 3 years after installation!

Wanted a reliable plumber with a good price to change the main water shut off, and the shut offs + hose bibs to the garage and back yard. Only looked at companies with a 95%+ rating. Aviv came in at the best price (compared to 3 others), so I went with them. Anthony showed up on time, removed his shoes, and had very neat soldering. Very pleased with his work and would highly recommend Aviv. Didn't get a 10 because the work was done over 2 days.

I researched different roofing systems and found this one to be best and also the most expensive. Steel rusts after time, and exposed screws or fasteners will eventually leak. The aluminum nails used are hidden, and the aluminum roofing panel is light weight, won't rust, and doesn't retain heat like an ashphalt shingle. They also use a superior underlayment, than most roofers. The water barrier works even without a shingle on top. Whyman and his crew started on the main roof in Nov/Dec of 2018. When they were removing the old roof, a worker threw a shingle down my brand new window scratching it. Whyman covered the cost to replace the glass. The main roof was completed in the spring of 2019. The second, lower roof over the garage and porch was delayed at my request so I could change the gutters, soffit, and fascia. ( see Novak review) The gutter installer would require nailing into the garage roof to support his ladder. The gutter job was done in a week, in the spring of 2019, and I called Whyman and his crew back to finish the job. I got delays and excuses and had to call the office to complain, to have him come out. He tried to fit me in whenever he could between jobs, and I had to constantly call him. The job was finally finished on June 30th 2020. I love the way my roof looks (like real slate), and my A/C costs are way down since I've had the roof. Neighbors have complimented the roof, and I believe it will last as long as the house does. However, I would not recommend this roof unless you plan on staying in your house a long, long time, to recoup the price of the roof. With housing prices through the roof (pun intended), I plan on passing on the house to my kids. So the cost of the roof is worth it for me and my kids. The installation was a headache, due to the constant delays and phone calls required. Also, the price doesn't make sense for the majority of home owners.

The job was started on July 2 and finished 4 days later. The workmanship was excellent! Novak is a perfectionist. Minor dents on the new gutter were spotted and Novak replaced them twice after the machine had problems. The front of the house had a stone front, and they ground down the stone so that the soffits would have no gaps to allow birds inside (which had previously occurred). They come equipped with all the tools, covering the shrubs and air conditioner with drop cloths, leaf blowing the dust from the grinding, and even vacuuming the aluminum shavings. I am extremely pleased with the end result and I would recommend them to anyone, but you have to book well ahead to get scheduled in.

My furnace was red tagged and the gas was shut off on the coldest day in December. Len showed up that night with heaters in tow. They were fully booked for the next day so I waited 2 days to have the work done. Adam showed up between 9-10am as scheduled. The furnace was suppose to arrive between the same hours but the delivery arrived at 715am! Adam rolled out floor mats and wore boot covers which was appreciated. Adam was polite and efficient, and was able to explain what failed on my old furnace. Adam even took out my furnace humidifier that I no longer wanted. The entire job took about 4.5hrs. Len followed up after the job was done to ensure satisfaction and clarified an issue with parts. I would use them again if need be.
