Rain on the weekend meant drip, drip above my head at night. Got up in the attic to add some buckets, then called a few companies the next day. Was hoping for an easy fix, but prepared for the worst (full roof shingle replacement). Being a weekend, Marie (or Maria?) was the first one to call me Monday AM (today). Although everyone was busy until later in the week, I was pleasantly surprised to get a call back a few hours later, asking if I could be home between 2-5 for CHUCK to visit and assess, as his prior appointments went smoothly and quickly. After arriving on time, with a phone call 30min in advance, he got up on the roof and looked around all over the place. Lifted some black duct tape and said he found the problem. Last guys my wife called years ago didn't even do what they were paid to do!?! Showed me the pictures and discussed options. After Chuck searched around, finding a couple of caulking-only patch repairs, he tells me if this was his momma's house, he'd want to get some new flashing for the 3X valley cracks. And not the cheap standard crap, but a bit thicker. 6" above and 6" below at least, nail and caulk the shingles back down around it. Well, I climbed up on the roof to watch all this and he seemed pretty darn thorough! And clean. And does this guy ever have some interesting life stories!! The most exciting part, having a roofing professional tell me I probably have another 10-15 years for the shingles, that they were looking great!! I really appreciated Chuck's desire to do the right thing. We have the same philosophy about business - treat the customer right, and you'll make more $$ in the long run through referrals and repeat business. I know exactly who I'm calling in 10 years! My new Maritimer Brother Chuck! Thanks man, feeling confident and comfortable with the roof now! PS...I never met Danny, but I hear he's great too...

FANTASTIC!! Talked with Ahmed about the need for a broken cable, rusted out and snapped on one side. He explained they come as a pair, and that they recommend replacing the door plates that they attach to (as they get rusted too), and that new rollers would likely be needed. Asked if I had 1 or 2 doors (2), and suggested that if the other one hadn't been replaced, it would likely need to be done at the same time, saving 2 service call trips (and over $100!). When Qussai showed up (again as with other reviews, very polite and professional and on time), he showed me the cable, plates, rollers and all the rust, then on the other door which was also highly rusted. I agreed it should be done, and then he gave it 2 twists and it fell off too easily - glad I didn't have to call them back in a couple of months! Pretty quick job (30-45mins?), cleaned up all the old parts and garbage, sprayed all the joints and rollers and tracks, and now both doors are humming. FANTASTIC!! Have called on Steve & Linda a few times now. First interaction was perfect for a broken dryer. They explained the visit cost, hourly rate, expected visit time, and what some options may be. Showed up on time, found the issue efficiently (broken rollers for the dryer barrel), put it all back together and cleaned up. Reasonable price. Great conversations also! Called them a second time for a dishwasher repair, with short explanations they were guessing the issues and showed up (again when they said, or even 3 minutes early) and fixed things at a reasonable price. Yesterday (weekend) our washer had a F02 error code- not draining. Family was worried about this one, as laundry needed to get done. Linda talked me through an easy idea to get the door open, and convinced me I could probably also check the filter. Not a handy guy, but did it - and IT WORKED!! Got a little wet, a little stinky, a little dirty to clean out that filter and what had accumulated there over the past 9 years - but also rewarding to do it myself too. Thank you both so much for what you have done to help around here the past few months. You are the only place I would call if I needed more help. I appreciate your honesty and fair / reasonable pricing. ...and Merry Christmas!!! Here's hoping nothing else breaks down before the New Year!!!

Thank you for the kind words Kurt. I am happy that Steve was able to fix both the washer and dishwasher. Even when you got in touch with me Saturday night, and Steve was not home, I was able to walk you through the "rip cord" door release when the washer failed to finish the cycle
As much as I have enjoyed our chats while Steve works, I hope you don't need to see us for a few months! Happy New Year
