A balcony in my apartment building on the third floor is situated directly over the living room on the second floor. The floor of this balcony had been originally covered by a sloped rubber membrane to drain into the eavestrough. This was removed as well as the supporting sloping framing. Floor was re-framed and covered in a recommended vinyl product.
