Repeated installation attempts; the initial installation was a disaster - 30-40% of the pieces were damaged and required re-order and re-install, which we were then informed was "standard." Took three attempts for install; we still have pieces that are damaged / installed incorrectly (not what we ordered, odd gaps where there should be none). Cumulative 3.5 month delay from initial install date (six months from invoice date!), which in turn delayed other aspects of our renovation project. Very messy installation; entire first floor covered in sawdust. Delivery was three hours outside of scheduled delivery window. All of this while I was 5-8 months pregnant. I spent an inordinate amount of time and missed work (emails, phone calls, repeated meetings with installers) to get Aya to get the job done. On top of it, our salesperson mysteriously disappeared halfway through our project - either fired or quit. Outrageously poor product quality and customer service, considering they charge a premium. Most bizarre, Aya staff seemed to think that this level of service and quality was acceptable - received very odd comments from delivery and quality managers indicating this was status quo for them.
