Last summer (2010) I contracted Sam at Sam Boutine Home Improvement to install crown moulding in my kitchen, family room, hallways and 4 bedrooms.. They installed molded foam moulding (which I had already purchased myself) and did a very good job. The owner of the company (Sam) was on site the entire time to supervise the installation and they completed the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up extremely well after the job was complete. A few months after the installation, I noticed a minor problem regarding one or two gaps that had appeared. Sam came out to look at it within two days of me advising him, and corrected the problem that very day. I would (and have) reccommended this contractor to friends already. I wish I had consulted Sam prior to purchasing the crown moulding material mysel, He advises that material composed of MDF product is a simpler and more stable installation, however after my minor problem was fixed I have not experienced any other problems. Also, these guys can do compound mitre joints to perfection - I have some interesting angles in my home. Two thumbs up!

In the summer of 2009 I employed Mark and his staff at Paradise Lawn and Garden to install a manufactured stone Patio and Walkway in by back yard garden. They did an architecturally beautiful and quality installation. The job was done within the timeframe we had initially discussed. The price of the job was very fair and the entire crew was extremely professional and easy to deal with. In the spring of 2010 I had a slight problem with a small part of the patio - some stones had risen and not re-settled (due to frost heave). I contacted Mark and he corrected the problem very quickly and successfully. This past spring I did not expereince that problem. I would not hesitate to reccommend Paradise Lawn and Garden to others.

Last summer (2010) I contracted Larry at Quality Economical Roofing to replace my 17 year old roof. They installed 40 year shingles and did a very good job. The owner of the company (Larry) was on site the entire time to supervise the installation. Everthing was done to building code and they completed the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up extremely wellafter the job was complete. A few months after the installation, I noticed a minor problem regarding a roof vent. Larry came out to look at it within two days of me advising him, and corrected the problem that very day. I would (and have) reccommended this contractor to friends already. Two thumbs up!

Myself and 3 neighbors all had our driveways relaced by King York Paving recently. I had an old interlocking stone driveway removed and replaced with asphalt. In my opinion Fabio and the staff at King York did an outstanding job. Afterremoval of the interlock, they laid down what appeared to me to be a very good base of gravel etc, and compacted it quite well. They explained to me that it had to sit and dry out for at least a month after which they paved. Once it was dried out nicely (about 6 weeks) they installed what looks to me to be a very thick and compact layer of asphalt (2 1/2 - 3" thick - maybe thicker). Of course time will tell, but I truly believe that the driveway will hold up very well. They did a great job and cleaned up after the job was complete. I found Fabio and the staff very easy to deal with and my calls to Fabio were promptly returned. The cost of the job was very fair. Without hesitation I would reccommend this contractor to others. I can't speak for the others, but I am told that my 3 neighbors are also quite happy. I will update this posting next spring after the driveway has been through a winter, but I feel certain that there won't be any problems.
