I contacted Sandu Electrician after researching many other electricians on Homestars. Ion had the most positive reviews and seemed like a very honest person that will not over charge. I contacted Ion and he came by the very same day at 6pm. He was able to find the issue and repair the outlet. He also gave a lot of great safety advice about my home. I will be using Ion for all my electrical issues and projects and letting family and friends know about his services.

I was having issues with wasps getting into my home due to small holes between the soffit and brick. I contacted Rimas and he gave me a very fair price for the job. I went with Vanguard Caulking because they have the best reviews compared along with the best price. I was not disappointed with their work so I re-hired them to redo all my windows and doors. Both jobs went very smooth and the workers were very professional and courteous. I only have good things to say about my interactions with Rimas and the quality if the work they provided.

I hired Alex and his crew to replace the sump pump system in my basement. The builder of my home did not use the proper pipe so soil started to leak through the pipe and fill into the well. Alex and his crew excavated the floor to remove the old pipe and install a new container that was made for sump pumps, installed a new pump and also fixed the outdoor piping (which was not up to code from the original builder). His crew was on time and was very knowledgeable. He did not overcharge me for the pump or labour which was great. I am happy to have found a reliable and trustworthy plumber. I will call Award Plus Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

My home is fairly new (3 years) and I have never cleaned my ducts. I recently completed a renovation which caused a lot of dust so I decided to get my ducts cleaned. After reading the reviews about Green and Spotless, I decided to give them a call. Devon was very friendly and informative when I first called him to get a quote. His pricing is very fair compared to others. He was able to clean all my ducts very efficiently and the air quality in my home has improved significantly since his service. They pulled out pieces of wood, drywall and other items from my ducts. It was surprising to see how much stuff there was hidden in there. It was clear that the builders never cleaned the ducts. Workign with Green and Spotless was a pleasure from beginning to end. I would recommend him to family and friends and will certainly call them again for my next duct cleaning.

I reached out to Evgeny when my fridge stopped working. He came the very same day and was able to determine the part that was broken and removed the ice that was preventing my fridge from cooling. He ordered the part on my behalf and I was able to use my fridge for the time being until the part that was broken arrive from Whirlpool. Evgeny kept me update about the status of the part throughout the process and came on the very same day the part arrive the install it. The fridge works great and I am very satisfied with the results. Evgeny was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him!

Yaron and his team came to my place and installed gutter guards and cleaned out my eavestrough. His workmanship and customer service was well beyond my expectations. He uses top of the line materials and works very efficiently. He was able to clean my eavestroughs and install over 350 ln ft of guards. I found a wasp nest in my home and called North Star Pest Control. Spoke with Shakeel who scheduled an appointment for the very next day (Thanksgiving Day). Shakeel and his team sprayed insecticide into the wasp nest leading into my house and also made a barrier of insecticide on the exterior of the entrance which prevented the wasps from entering or exiting the nest. It's the day after and there appears to be no activity in the nest the day after so it appears to have worked. Shakeel was very professional and very fair with pricing. I would recommend North Star Pest Control to all my family and friends!

I have nothing but good things to say about Tile & Grout Restoration. My house is less than two years old and I've had issues with the porcelain floors throughout my house and grout/caulking issues in all my showers. I had finally had enough when an entire line of grout fell out between my showers. After looking at a bunch of companies of Homestars, I decided to give these guys a call based on their positive reviews. Len (Quote Specialist) came by and gave me a quote. He was very knowledgable and professional. He gave me a few tips on how to keep my showers in better condition as well. He always answers my text messages and phone calls in a timely manner and is very fair with his pricing. Greg and his team worked very quickly and did a great job in my kitchen and two showers. The porcelain tiles in my kitchen were not properly secured which caused the grout to crack. Greg and his team removed and secured 16 tiles in my kitchen and applied a white sealer on the grout lines. It has been over a month and the tiles are in great condition. The grout in my showers started the crack which caused water to collect behind my showers. Greg repaired all the cracked grout along the walls and threshold and re-applied caulking to the showers. The grout used to repair my shower is very high quality compared to the materials the builder of my house used. Greg has great craftsmanship and his years of experience show in the finished product. I am very satisfied with my experience with Tile & Grout Restoration. I would highly recommend them to any friends and family.

I contacted ABM because my furnace was leaking water. Alex was able to find the issue and stop the leak. He determined there was an issue with my AC unit and also helped with connecting some hoses that were in the wrong place and changed a hose that was clogged/dirty. It has been over a week and the leak has been fixed. I would recommend Alex to my friends and family.

James and his crew did a great job on removing branches (two of the trees were touching hydro lines) which were hanging over my house. They also removed two small trees from my backyard. They were very efficient and cleaned up my front and backyard really well. I will be using them in the spring for some landscaping work. Thank you James and Brayden!
