Full service duct and dryer vent cleaning using compressed air nozzle on all air vents and registers. Tarek came with a huge vehicle with powerful equipment and worked alone. He did all four floors (approx. 15 registers) of our small semi-detached home under 2000 sq. ft., including sanitizing, which took under two hours. Some debris but this was cleaned up.
The job also included cleaning of dryer vents (we have two) and he removed an empty bird's nest (!) on second floor from a hole left uncovered by a previous contractor that had kept shutting down the dryer (which thankfully auto shuts-off when overheated). Tarek placed a wire mesh cover over the hole and the dryer was working again, but unfortunately after a few weeks, more lint accumulated at the wire mesh again.
Since their work is guaranteed, I contacted them about this and, true to their word, Amjad and another worker came back to troubleshoot this problem (on a Sunday, no less). They installed a new dryer vent cover on exterior wall without extra charge, with proper caulking and equipment. Nice job (see picture).
I believe because we paid full freight for the duct cleaning, they provided the dryer vent installation (which was quoted $150 otherwise, for standalone job) for low fee since they were already present for the main job. What was impressive was they came back and honoured their work.
Overall, good communication via HomeStars messaging and excellent after-service. Professional, prompt and courteous. Cost: $380 duct cleaning + $40 dryer vent cover installation.
