We had a very clear idea of what we wanted in terms of layout and design for a 2-storey addition & renovation to our 100+ yr old semi. We wanted to find someone who could execute our vision and had thorough knowledge of all the city rules. Mark definitely fit the bill as he had knowledge of the city codes and helped us navigate towards a plan that would avoid the committee of adjustment (something that a separate designer had told us was not possible). Sure enough, we got our permits no problem at all without needing to go through CofA. Throughout the process, he was extremely patient, offered some great suggestions, was kind and understanding, with a very professional style of communication. We had a very challenging time with our contractor - during which, Mark was so very quick and helpful in trying to help us problem solve issues. If ever there were any adjustments needed to be made to the drawings, he was very prompt to correct. We’d definitely recommend Mark and are grateful to have gotten the chance to work with him.
