I sought someone to clean out our gutters. We were renovating and saw green leaves hanging over. Turned out they were weeds growing in the gutters. The build up had turned to an earthen mulch… no idea the last time they were cleaned. Scott responded quickly to my request and did a thorough and efficient job. He cleaned out two garden waste bags, hosed the gutters clean and cleaned excess debris from the roof. Would highly recommended this business!

I was looking for someone to help with tree and stump removal but am new to Barrie. I lucked out in finding Northshore Tree Experts! The entire team was professional yet very personable and handled the job perfectly. I wish all the contractors we hired were as reliable as this company. Thanks Johnny and crew!

I was coming very close to the move in date for the home I had been intensively renovating for the past 2 months. I intended to do this install myself, thinking this amateur plumber could handle it. I was overwhelmed with unexpected jobs and decided to call a plumber. It was a last minute call out to homestars and Drain Care came through, attending for this 1/2 day job in 2 days! The guys were great to deal with and both very professional and personable. The job was bigger than they first anticipated (I’m glad I didn’t take it on after I saw what they had to do), but a few hours of hard graft and the work was done. Thanks guys. Will call again when the need arises!

I hired (Emilio) to paint my entire house after new drywall was installed and other drywall was “fixed”. The tapers did a horrendous job. Thankfully, Emilio is also a talented taper. I asked if he could fix the other company’s sloppy work (I didn’t have the time to call them back and Emilio was already halfway through the job when the issues became apparent). Emilio stepped up and saved the day. He is such a good person and a hard worker. The quality of his work is amazing. I have already recommended him to several friends and family members. If you want a great painter and a reliable tradesman, look no further!

Jason from Glenmore Custom Home’s was the first to contact me from the Homestars recommended contractors...the other two contacted me but failed to show for estimates. I sought other estimates and found Jason’s to be the best. He was punctual, professional and the end product looks great. I would gladly recommend Glenmore to anyone needing roof repair. Spoke over the phone and arranged a quote on a new roof. Never showed up for the quote as scheduled And when I called the contact apologized and asked if he could call me back in 2 minutes. That was the last I heard of him. Never expected this of “Homestars” listed business.
