They came to clean or install new dryer vent , whichever was necessary. They refused to do the work but still charged us for showing up. So we had to pay them to come so they could tell us that they didnt want to go up on our roof to replace dryer vent. They refused the work and we still had to pay for the service call. Update : after discussing with Vik the General Manager he agreed to refund money.. shortly after the refund Vik noticed this homestar review and he called me at night and asked me to remove it. I told him I would look into it. A few hours later he then recharged our visa the $88.

Hi Scott, We do apologize for your misunderstanding. On our web site, where the apointment was booked, it clearly shows we have a $78 inspection/diagnostic fee during the booking process. Yes, we werent able to get on your roof safely. All our technicians have their working at heights and in order to access your roof safely we would need additional equipment. The tech who was at your home always works on roofs and does roof vent installs frequently. You were also aware it was an unsafe work situation. We did not require acess to your roof to resolve your dryer vent issue. But all the services we did offer were declined, and liability release was signed by your spouse. TERRIBLE customer service. Purchased shower system from Roman Bath Centre and the face plate for the system was damaged. Called about replacement part. I was treated like I was being untruthful. They insinuated that the item must have been damaged while being installed. The Manager eventually agreed to replace the part in a third phone conversation, but made a point of informing me that it normally costs $100 for the part. Again, it came this way so stop suggesting that you are doing me some kind of favor by replacing a defective part. If customers being untruthful about damaged products is such a problem, why not have the customer inspect the product before they leave instead of sending people home with a sealed box of who knows what?
