This is the second time I've hired Declan in the past year and this is the second time he has done a spectacular job. Declan installed an additional 2 pot lights to the 6 I had him install last year as well as a junction box over the kitchen table for a pendant light. (Previous job was much larger - rewiring knob & tube on our 1st floor and installation of pot lights in kitchen, junction box over dining room table) During his quote he made us aware of all the possible outcomes and additional charges that might occur if the job wasn't as simple as it appeared (No additional charge was required). He even helped my wife visualize where the light would hang to ensure she was happy with the kitchen table light location. He was very neat and moved kitchen counter appliances and used drop clothes to avoid making a mess on the floor. He avoided making any unnecessary holes in the ceiling - which made my job easier (no holes to fill!). He cleaned and swept up when he was done. In the end he was very quick. Under two hours for the job to be completed, and besides the beautiful pot lights in our kitchen you would never have known he was even there. I would highly recommend Declan and Green Isle Electric for any electrical job in your house. He's honest, helpful, clean and does a great job. 10/10

We contacted Dave for a basement 2 piece bathroom rough-in. He came in below the other three quotes we received and decided to go with Royal Flush as his suggestions were identicle to other contractors, he was knowlegable about his solutions, and offered great feedback to questions when asked. The plumbing work which Royal FLush was hired for was great. he roughed in where needed and was very quick and accurate and even provided insight into a laundry sink I purchased and later returned. Dave and his co-worker installed a basement septic sump and sump pump which required heavy amounts of jackhammering due to an unforseen concrete block in the way. We expected debris but not to the extent we received after the first day. The jackhammering was done under the basement stairs and approximately 6 feet from the furnace. The basement door was left ajar and our 1st floor family/dining room was covered in white dust from the conrete. Luckily I returned home from an errand only an hour after Dave began his excavating work and managed to cover our upholstered furniture to prevent the dust from settling into our couches. I asked him to close the door and drape plastic over the door up to reduce the amount of dust. It didnt really matter though. As I said the jackhammering was done 6 feet from the furnace which in turn spread the dust to EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE. I knew this would be a dirty job but it would have been nice if Dave had forseen this, closed the basement door, turned off the furnace and provided any other way to keep the house tidy. Now to remedy the situation we need to have our furnace/ducts cleaned and rent a steam cleaner for carpet and upholstery (both which I just serviced December of last year). This along with all the hand washing, dusting and laundering of all bed blankets, dish towels, hand towels, placemats., hardwood floors... EVERYTHING... in the house needed to be cleaned and at cost to me and my time. If I would recommend Royal Flush to anyone else it would be to someone who has an unfinished home or a total gut job of a house - not much respect to the rest of the house. He got the job done, but a 3 day cleanup for a 3.5 day job was unaccpetable.

I'm very sorry about the dust and that this was your experience. At Royal flush we work extremely hard to ensure complete customer satisfaction. In this case, I was focused on fixing the issue. I had no idea about the dust getting upstairs. I would really like to resolve this situation with you, so please call me. Thanks, Dave May 416 420 2747
