Excellent experience from start to finish. I previously hired another company to install roller blinds on my two-floor open loft which turned out being a total nightmare (do not recommend Blinds & Shutter Outlet). Condo Blinds restored my faith in humanity, offering a very reasonable price for blinds that were installed one week after initial measurement. The installer Colin was on time, professional and efficient. I was worried that the 16-foot floor-to-ceiling windows in my unit would be difficult to work with but I could not be happier with the placement and quality of the blinds. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Please be aware that Vinyl-Tek Shutters subs out work to The Blind and Shutter Outlet. Where do I begin? The salesman, Dave (from Vinyl-Tek) damaged my hardwood floors during initial quote and constantly gave me false updates (i.e telling me the blinds were ready to be installed but were delayed due to lack of installer availability - this turned out to be completely UNTRUE as the installer confirmed they did not even begin production yet). The installer (also) Dave (from The Blind and Shutter Outlet) took wrong measurements which resulted in needing to have the blinds "remade". There were 3 no-shows for installation appointments (my husband took these days off from work and we did not receive any type of heads up about cancellation/rescheduling). All the negative reviews are true. This company is a nightmare to deal with (rude "customer service", never picking up/returning calls, etc). I was told the blinds would be manufactured and installed within 2-3 weeks.... this was 12 weeks ago. I highly regret going with this company. Their prices are the cheapest for a reason. It's not worth the time/hassle.

I found this company through google and decided to go with them because they had the most affordable rates. I paid about $135 for 25 boxes (2 weeks). The guidelines provided on the website is pretty accurate - I had almost enough boxes for my "1-br plus" although I never received the 5 extra boxes for free as advertised on their website. Going with this service gave me enough time to pack/unpack at my own pace and with ease since there was no box assembly or taping required. Anything that is environmentally friendly is also a plus! The bins are a good size and I was able to pack a sufficient quantity of items. Another benefit is that you don't have to worry about disposing after or the boxes falling apart during transport. The boxes were dropped off as scheduled but there was a minor delay for pickup as they had the wrong contact number on file. Not a major issue as the boxes were picked up the next day. Sidenote - the movers Smartboxes referred me to were also great. (see my review on GTA Moving) All in all, renting these bins from Smartboxes made this move go much smoother than expected and I will definitely be using their services in the future.

Thank you for the review, I will look into the extra 5 Free boxes to see why they may not have been included, sometimes, other items are provided or improved rate or longer time periods, but definitely I will check into this

Based on all their great reviews, I hired this company for deep-cleaning services -- that was a huge mistake. Initially when I contacted the company and spoke to Cynthia, we discussed my needs and what was included in the service. I told her I needed cleaning for the loft I was moving into and specifically, the kitchen (mainly fridge) and bathroom (mainly shower tile & grout) needed the most attention. On the day of service, Cassia (who I presume to be the owner) and two cleaning ladies showed up to the property. They spoke to my husband about what was going to be done, etc. and he let them know we only wanted 3 hours of cleaning. Apparently 3 hours for TWO cleaners was not enough time to address the grout in the bathroom. The shower looked like it was just wiped down - grout untouched. When I requested to have the grout issue addressed, the company called me while I was at work (on a weekday) with ZERO NOTICE to say they were in the area and could fix the problem. Unfortunately, I was not home to let them in. I would have given 5 stars based on the actual cleaning. Everything else was satisfactory except that they did NOT clean the grout (which was the MAIN REASON why I hired this company otherwise I would have cleaned it myself). When I called to complain, Cassia told me proceeded to scream at me and offered no discount or solution. Basically, Cassia had a "too bad" attitude and her response was that they did what I asked so no further action was required, even though she acknowledged that the GROUT WAS NOT DONE. This is why I took off a few more stars. I don't doubt that this company's actual cleaning abilities are probably good but what they are lacking are proper communication and customer service skills. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. EDIT: They quoted me 6-8 hours. The 3 hours of services I received counted as 6 hours of cleaning since there were two cleaners. My husband was simply there to give them access to the property. I was clear on my instruction during the initial consultation with Cynthia. The company's exaggerated response to my review is laughable. If by chance there is ever an issue, don't expect any type of customer service or logical response.

Thanks for taking the time to write your review about De Home. We are extremely surprised to hear about these concerns, as we take customer service extremely serious. When we left your house your husband checked the job and he said everything was okay, we tried to do all he asked in the time he gave to us. Usually in a deep cleaning we spend more hours to clean the house as we have to move things around and clean inside all the appliances. When you contacted our office we told you that our estimate time to this kind of job based on the size and conditions you described was 6-8 hours but you insisted that they only could use 3 hours to do so. It limited the job as your husband didn’t prioritize any part of your house to the cleaners actually he was very clear they have to clean the entire house, so we did the best we could to attend your husband requirements with the time we had. Our company had contacted you to send you a cleaner to re-do the bathroom on the day after the cleaning as we do not go to this area frequently but we couldn’t reach you. The grout is not something easy to clean as I explained to you it needs time to clean it and we didn't have enough.

We used GTA Moving Services for our move recently. I did a lot research before hiring this company. Their rates were among the most affordable among the dozens of quotes I received. Moving into a condo is never an easy task as you have to deal with navigating the building, elevator, etc. To add to that, we experienced hurricane-like weather with downpour and high winds upon unloading. Needless to say, both movers did their best to get the move completed given the circumstances. They were courteous, fast and efficient. Every time one of them made a trip up or down the stairs, their hands were always full. Fragile items were wrapped carefully with wrapping and blankets. The use of their wardrobe boxes was included for free! All of our belongings were placed according to our instruction and nothing was damaged. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We have 2 counter-top water filtration systems at our small office. Installation was a breeze. Technician was efficient and courteous. The water is the best I've ever had; so "clean" tasting and refreshing. We plan on continuing our service so haven't had a chance to see what the cancellation process will be like. This review is strictly based on the quality of the water and installation process, which we are very happy with. Highly recommend.

I bought a leather sectional sofa from the Vaughan location 3 years ago. I chose this store over others because they were able to customize the sectional to fit my living room perfectly. That being said, that is the only good thing I have to say about this company. 8 months after buying the couch, padding became so warped in 2 spots that whoever sat there would sink into the wooden frame. Honouring their 1 year warranty, they replaced my sofa as I requested for more foam padding inside to avoid this issue again. Fast forward 2 years, I'm having the exact same issues not to mention the "leather" is ripping and cracking everywhere with springs sticking out of the bottom as well. Extremely disappointed with the quality and will never buy from this company again. EDIT: We are a young married couple with no kids or pets. We are both of average weight and never had 2 people sitting on one spot or exceeding the 350 lbs maximum. We never jumped on the couch or had parties damaging the couch. I am not sure if you can call watching tv or playing video games "aggressive" treatment of the couch. The owner's defense is laughable. The only reason I gave any stars is because their customer service did look into the issue initially. Although they did replace the defected sofa, what good is the replacement if it does not even last a few years??!! Waste of $2500 and now we are without a couch.

This is Jason from Vaughan location. I was very sad to read this. First of all, we are able to custom made a couch without surcharge and when customer complains to us in warranty time, we honored our warranty. This should be considered very good in service and pricing. This customer only rates us for 2 of 10 which is very unfair to us. What else we can do better in turns of service ? and if you a merchant and between your suppliers and your customers, can you do better? Regarding the quality, I checked our service record and found acustomer matching the case and he lives in Wood bridge. His sectional couch was broken because of a party he had and his pets. He allows his kids jumping on the couch and allow pets to dig in the couch, then it is reason to cause the sectional damaged. After he complained to us, we sent our technician to his house and the technician reported back that this couch was abused heavily and it wasn't supposed to be coverd by our manufacture warranty but we stil decided to perform the repair service anyway to fulfill our service commitment. I won't be surpise that his couch will be further damaged after 3 years aggressive and uncareful usage. But when people write a review, he will never mention about this part. Another reason for the problem he mentioned is weight capacity. Due to its material and design, each couch has its weight limit. If there are 2 - 3 people whose total weight are more than 500 lbs sitting on the arm or one seat of the couch, it will cause foam padding gotten squeezed in that particular seat. This is what we consider abusing and unproper usage of a couch. Each seat weight capacity is 350 lbs. If you know there are more than 2 people will sit in one seat, you should let us know when you purchase the couch so we will use different density of foam to do support. One thing I hope everyone know here is we are a merchant between our customers and our suppliers. When problem happens, we will do our best to fix it and co-ordinate with the factory to satisfy our customer and this is why we have warranty system but we have no control about how people will use our couches. Even though the couch was damaged due to his misusing but he won't mention it in the review and this leave us a very unfair position. Here are another thing I want to bring to your attention. If you click his name and see the reviews he wrote for others, you will see all negative. All customer services from other companies are horrible. I guess he is a very negative person and he won't be easy to get satisfied. Like our case, even we honored our warranty and gave him good price for custom sectional sofa, we are still considered bad to him. But anyway, I guess everyone can say anything they want. All stories have two sides and I am very happy that I have a chance to explain our part. If you guys take a look our company's reviews in next 10 pages, at least one thing I guess you can find out is we do care about our reputation and our customer. Whenever people have problem with our product or service, we all performed reasonable care. We have 7 stores across Ontario and sold hundreds of orders every month in the past 6 years, 99% of customers are all happy with our products and services. There are always some people that can't be satisfied even we tried.

Initially when booking with this company, I received a great rate along with very helpful assistance from Bav in their customer service department. This great impression slowly deteriorated after a year when they started to charge my bank account double the agreed upon monthly rate in order to make up for an administrative error on their part. After trying to contact Grand Alarms numerous times and leaving many messages on the hope that somebody "will get back to me", we came to a resolution but I am still waiting for it to be finalized! The installation set up was just ok - the technician came late (at night) and worked very slowly. He ended up sitting down at our kitchen table and even watched TV while working! Other than their mediocre customer service, the actual alarm monitoring is everything I could ask for. Anytime the alarm was set off by accident, I received a call promptly! Overall, I would not recommend this company on the sole basis of their customer service (or lack of)

I bought a 1-time house cleaning session for their promotional price of $99, seemed more than reasonable. I should have checked out the homestars reviews more thoroughly because there is another section for the same company "Toronto Maid Service" on this website with only one review - of course a "10". Nobody showed up for my first appointment with no notice. Booked my make up appointment more than a week later. Noticed on my credit card statement that I was double charged! Had to contact the company a couple times, but they did refund their error. Day of appt, 2 cleaners showed up 3 hours late and completed most of the tasks I left. Although they stayed for longer than the 3-hr session I bought (1.5hr x 2 workers)- the windows, sliding, door, appliances were not done. I'll admit that it was a lot of work though. OVERALL: - OK Cleaning (not cleaned as thoroughly as I'd have liked but decent considering the time designated) - HORRIBLE customer service or lack thereof (impossible to reach, always got answering machine) Would not recommend
