A number of years ago we had Almac build a semicircular paving stone patio in our back yard. We have been very happy with it but, after several whole family gatherings during the pandemic, decided a larger patio would make the back yard more enjoyable and useful. We wanted to be sure that any extension matched both the quality and the design of the original so we turned to Almac again. Allan came out a couple of times to help us decide on the size of patio we wanted and what it might look like. He assured us that they would be able to blend the new extension with the existing patio so we decided to go ahead with the project. The crew arrived half a day early and after checking with us to make sure we were in agreement with the outline of the new patio, got right to work. Every man seemed to know his job and within a few hours they had removed the sod and soil. They worked really efficiently and were done in a couple of days. Allan checked in with us each day to let us know what was planned and to make sure we had no concerns. The crew cleaned up each day and, when the job was done, the area was spotless. The pattern of the new patio extension blends right into the older patio. In fact, the whole patio looks like a single project rather than two projects separated by about five years. Although we expected the best from Almac, we were again impressed with their efficiency and attention to detail. Allan, Dennis and the crew were also very pleasant to deal with in every way. We highly recommend Almac and will certainly use this company again if we have another project!

Garage floor concrete had a number of large cracks and was crumbling at entrance leaving a gap between the floor and the overhead door when closed. Mark provided an very competitive estimate with an explanation of what was needed. They showed up as planned, cut away a section of the concrete that was crumbling and replaced it with high strength concrete. They also pressure washed the garage floor and returned the next day to fill the cracks with industrial strength epoxy. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. The new concrete closely matches the old floor and is hardly noticeable. The overhead doors now seal tightly on the new section of the floor. We would not hesitate to use this company again.
