We live close by to Harvey's Furniture. It's been there forever. When we moved in to our new home, we needed a new couch for the livingroom and a small sofa for our bedroom. We checked out several places. Harvey's had a good variety for a wide range and tastes. We found a Palliser love seat which fit perfectly for our master bedroom. The cost was reasonable and negotiable.(which is always good). The sales reps are knowledgeable, confident, and approachable. They have a good range of appliances, some pretty high end. But prices might be more competitive elsewhere. We found their couches and sofa election the best. It's a nice local store, pleasant to shop in. We usually hop in now and then to take a peak.

Our house came with alot of old appliances. After 5 years it was time to replace a couple of them. So we went to Sears. Great place to look for home appliances especially if you are looking not to spend too much. They had the best price on the items we were looking for. The sales people are sorta pushy but not so much you felt like you were cornered. But they are very friendly. The gentleman we got was very knowledgeable and very articulate. So it was easy to understand and you didnt feel intimidated. The service was great: we got a delivery rebate, $100 worth of reward points on our Sears mastercard and got a 3 month interest free delayed payment plan. The items were delivered in a timely fashion, and our appliances are working great. We will definitely go back when it's time for a new fridge.

It took us over 6 months to find the perfect table for our old heritage home. Well, we found it at Moe's. We spotted the table early in the year even before we even got the house. It went perfectly, it's a long table with criss cross legs at each end, and came with a matching communal bench..we love it. The quality if the table is great. The service at Moe's was relaxed and not pushy. They helped us with picking out some chairs too. We didnt feel pressured or rushed. Their delivery service was also very efficient and friendly. However the table was pretty heavy, it's all wood over 6 feet in length..can fit up to 10 people comfortably. The movers told us to never move...haha...We loved our experience at Moe's and always go often to check out their furniture.

To begin with, we felt very rushed through the whole purchase. We had too many questions and we were not given any tips or advise. The sink we got was for an old house so we wanted one that would be suitable and keep the heritage style. We picked the right sink but was recommended the wrong sink faucet. No one guided us to get one a faucet with know that stood higher up. Now the knobs hit the back walls of the sink as the sink is a corner sink and is triangular in shape. The order was late by almost 2 weeks. When they it would be inthe next day it never showed up. It was an awful first experience renovating our washroom. Price was competitive but you always felt like uneasy about their advise and recommendations. They were not effecient, accountable or knowledgeable. We would definitely never go back.

We went to a couple places to look for a new toilet. Ripples was the only place that answered all our questions and concerns. The other places gave us the impression we were asking too many questions. There was only a price difference of about $20. We still went with Ripples, they were pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and friendly. We mentioned that we lost our the little knob cover on one of our bathtub faucet knob, they say either Hot or Cold. The sales lady called us when our toilet was in and said she got someone to find us a new knob cover and it was complimentary. Now that's customer service. We will definitely go back. And the Toto toilet we got...awesome.

Cambie Plumbing is Awesome. They were the only company that took the time to come see our broiler before giving us the quote. This initial meeting was free of charge. The 2 guys that did the removing and installation were really friendly and we could tell really took their job to heart. The owners are personable and wonderful people, they even helped us with a payment plan as we just started a new family and just purchased an old house. They came back anytime we had a question or concern about the broiler. We had a great experience with Cambie and would recommend them anytime.

Hillcrest Plumbing was great. They were professional, friendly and efficient. Plumber installed the toilet and cleaned up. They could have their workers put on those little shoe covers before entering the house. Otherwise, the work was good.
