10/10

I was looking for a Steel Garage with some headspace and approximately 33' x 33'. I came across Toro while searching the web for some options and prices and saw that they had a couple of buildings that were ordered by someone in California that lost their home to a forest fire just before they were scheduled for delivery (tragic for sure) so they had bigger issues than to deal with the steel buildings and Toro allowed them out of their obligation. One of the buildings was a pretty good match, 32' x 32' with 10 foot walls befre the pitch, two openings for garage doors and a nice steel service door. I called Mr. Best and he went over all of the specifications with me and since the building was going to northern MI, he told me about the insulation material (which is really nice looking and not too expensive) so I added that. My local concrete and construction contractors pulled the permits and it was up in three days after the concrete cured. Recommendation: The engineering foundation and concrete specifications on the stamped drawings are over-engineered to be ultra conservative and cover the worst likely case scenario since the Professional Engineer doesn't have any soils information on the specific erection Site. So, if you want to save a few thousand dollars, hire a local engineer to review the specs and modify them for the actual Site before pulling the permits. I am very pleased with my new steel garage and Mr. Best was beside me the entire way. I wholeheartedly support anyone looking for a high quality steel building to contact Mr Best and Toro Steel Buildings.
