Had them remove knob and tube from older home and rewire back in 2001. Workers were pleasant, price was not out of sight. We are now having our first floor renovated and imagine our surprise to find that much of the knob and tube in the house still remains. My kitchen contractor is appalled. Makes me wonder how much other knob and tube is hiding away behind the walls.
