After 12 years of use my Noritz tankless water heater was in desperate need of repair. John gave an initial diagnosis and was able to arrange service by warranty. Within 4 days he returned to install the replacement parts. Within 2 hours we had hot water once again. John was excellent in his communicating the needed parts was under the estimate time needed to complete the work. This all occurred during the pandemic. Need siding updated at the front of my house on the enclosed porch and upper dormer. Oleg made multiple visits to ensure the colour and samples of the product were exactly what we were looking for. Although I had my railings done about two years ago, I remembered that I didn't write my review for Tal (sorry it took so long). So, was extremely happy with the results. Tal and his team were always professional, clean, and made sure that we were happy. There were a few minor issues that were quickly resolved without any headaches. Petar from Mallion came to quote after working a hard day. The next day I recieved the quote and was extremly pleased with the estimate. Petar and his helper came a few weeks later to remove existing eavestroughs and downspouts all around the house. He supplied and install new eavestroughs and downspouts. He also removed existing fascia and install new fascia all around the house. I was extremely happy with the results and promised to post some pictures. (Sorry Petar, I will get them when it's sunny again). The old cedar shingles we weather worn and needed replaced. We also installed new windows on the back half of the house, so the shingles were already torn away from the installation. The house is over 140 years old and you could feel the wind blowing in. I called Cuma to come and look at the work and he didn't even need to meet me. He provided a detailed quote of the work needed done with explanations of what was included. He wasn't pushy and really gave me a sense of his professionalism. Without even taking a deposit the scaffolding was in place and the work commenced. His crew worked hard and fierce to get the work completed. The results were amazing and we still have neighbours asking who did it and how wonderful it looks. The new stucco wall system now provides greater insulation, keep the hot sun out. The reduction in outside noise in the upper bedrooms had definitely improved. Looking forward to lower energy bills, I can see this investment paying for itself in time. This has been my second time using Amilcar and his crew. On one of the hottest days of the year Amilcar and crew kept to there promise of completing the job in one day and cleaning the area as if they were never here. He's very trustworthy, he takes pride in his work and ensures customer satisfaction. His crew isn't loud, they work hard and extremely professional. I highly recommend this company and will surely call them again in the future.

AMAZING WORK AT A REASONABLE PRICE I hired a general contractor that was working at my neighbours to work on my side of our shared roof. After getting the higher than expected quote I agreed to go with him since my neighbour had been using him for other jobs. With countless delays in getting the job started and the contractor coming back to me to add an additional $1500 to the quote I tapped out and cancelled the job. That is when I contacted Amilcar. Amilcar met with me the day after calling him to give the quote. He could complete my job at a 1/3 or what I was quoted by the original contractor. On the day the work was to be completed Amilcar and his team got right to work. He stuck to his quoted price and provided some extra that wasn't expected on the facia and soffit. He also pointed out some problems that I had with my 100 year+ garage and suggested some minor fixes I could do on my own - I respected that he didn't try to hide these problems. His team were all professionals and worked diligently to get the job done to my satisfaction. The clean up was amazing; like they were never here. I'm so happy with the results that I want Amilcar and his team back in the spring to work on the roof of my house.

After taking 4 weeks to building a deck and fence for my neighbour the contract was to move on to the roof of the garage. The contractor came back to me and said the job would be $2000 more for plywood and shims to make the sloped roof level. I decided to have my roof completed by another company who quoted half the original quote and would get the job done in a day. It's been a week since they start my neighbours 1/3 of the roof and after a week, they are still at it! Glad I put a stop to them touching my side. I would avoid HSC at all costs and cancelled my free membership. From what I read I don't think they screen their contractors and if they do, they certainly don't screen the crew the contractor subs the work out to. To date I have yet to have a manager from HSC call to find out why I cancelled the job or was unhappy (even though the phone agent said I would be getting one).

The main sewage drain from our house was blocked causing a backup into our basement shower. I tried to clear on my own, but needed someone with the proper tools to get the job done right. The technician called prior to his arrival to announce his arrival time. He explained to me at my front door what he would do to try clear the problem. Upon entering my home he place covers over his boots so my floors won't get dirt. He inspected the shower drain and tried to clear it with no luck. He asked me all the steps I took to clear the problem as to not duplicate what I had done to waste my time. He went outside to his truck to grab tools and checked out the main drain to the street. He could see the blockage was at this point and cleared the line. He then setup a camera to look into the cause of the problem and saw it was tree roots. He didn't charge me extra for this service and normally other companies would. He then wrote up a quote on the spot to suggest additional work that would need to be done so the problem wouldn't happen again. There was no pressure to do the extra work. The technician was professional, friendly, or pushy on the extra work. I was extremely happy with the fast friendly service and would definitely use them again (but hope I won't need to).

Jack was so easy to work with. We had three other quotes. One was double of what Pioneer quoted. The quote was the same as the final invoice. The two installers were quick, clean, and efficient. We had 15 windows installed in 1 day! We were very impressed and happy with the whole experience. Neighbors love the new modern look of the all black windows.
