We are extremely satisfied with the work that Solutions Elec. did for us. The electrician they sent showed up ahead of time, made sure we got the correct placement of the lights and completed the job in the time and for the price quoted. This is the second time they have done work for us and have done an excellent job both times.

Had a pot light stop working, easy fix. However, the electrician helped me out on another issue, helping me figure out where pipes were located in my den that were freezing. He guided me in the direction of who to call who would hopefully be able to troubleshoot the roofing problem that I am having causing the pipes to freeze. Very friendly. Will do whatever they can to help you out. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Needed two jobs done: replace existing fluorescent balasts, adding a separate control switch; install motion sensor for high stairwell. The estimator responded quickly, gave no-nonsense assessment. The service personnel showed up on time, did excellent work, cleaned up work area properly. Start to finish, very professional dealings. Will recommend to other home-owning friends.

I've contracted Solutions Electrical to replace three old rusty outdoor pot lights with new ones and LED bulbs. While looking at the bulbs packaging, I've noticed that the LED bulbs that were installed were for an indoor usage only. After asking the installer for why he used indoor bulbs, his answer was that "they are no problem for outdoor, I have the same ones at my home!". This was contradicted by the manufacturer that I've contacted shortly after. And I've been charged by Solutions Electrical for these wrong bulbs twice the price in comparison to the exact same ones I've seen at a major hardware store in my neighbourhood! Tony (my contact at Solutions Electrical) admitted his installer's error and agreed to change the wrong indoor bulbs for outdoor ones. Six weeks later, this work was not yet completed. From promising to post a bad review on Home Stars, Tony called me in emergency and explained his understaffed problems to be the reason for the delay. He accepted my proposal for a discount to free him up. But when the time was to pay, the HST amount was wrongly calculated! When dealing with Solutions Electrical, I've experienced a very poor service at an unreasonable inflated cost! In conclusion: STAY AWAY from Solutions Electrical!

I called Solutions Electrical to address a number of different electrical issues at my home: faulty sockets, dimmer install, pot light problems, smoke/co alarm replacements, and ceiling fan installs. Two team members came and addressed the list of issues efficiently and professionally. They were very helpful and completed the work on the estimated timeline for the estimated budget. I had a great experience from the first phone call where I spoke to Frank , and he helped me to set everything up; to the accounting office where I dealt with Sue. Tony and the boys came out to my house on two separate occasions and they were very professional, and personable. they did all the work I asked of them and they were also very timely.

I have used Solutions 3 times now - twice to do minor repairs (replace breakers, install outlet) and most recently to change out the electrical panel. In all of my interactions with them they have been prompt, professional and conscientious. They have come to quickly to quote on work to be done, worked with my schedule and the price has been more than fair given the amount of work they have done. I was most impressed on the last visit since they took the extra time to make sure everything was done to code so my house and family would be safe.

I called Solutions Electrical to change out approximately 15 switches and receptacles in a basement renovation that I did. Their quote was fair, they were accommodating in term of schedule and complete the work in a neat and professional manner. I would certainly use them again.
